Professional grooming services for all breeds of dog and cat. I have over 20 years of experience as a professional Groomer and more than 25 years experience in the pet industry. I have been grooming and selling pet supplies in Havelock for over 12 years. I have moved my business to my home on Alexander Street, right in town! My focus is the health and wellbeing of your pet! d one pet at a time, this ensures that your pet gets all of my attention with as little stress as possible. nail trimming, teeth checks, styling, a**l glands (only if required), bath in natural professional pet shampoo, hand dry, grooming mist, a bow or other accessory and love. I do book an average of 8 weeks in advance, so it is advisable to book appointments ahead of time to secure your desired dates. Nail trimming can generally be accommodated within a few days and is only $10! I also trim birds (wings, beaks, nails) and small critters nails for $10/service. These services can usually be accommodated within a few days. I also have a selection of Foods, Treats, Toys and accessories for cats, dogs and birds. And a few pics during a groom.... some dogs are difficult and the hammock helps a little, but even with that I wasn't able to do a complete finish on the cocker spaniel. At least she feels lighter and can enjoy the hot summer days ahead ☺️

A friendly reminder that ALL No Shows are subject to a $25/pet fee.

A No Show is a direct loss of income that I rely on to pay my bills and put food on my table for my family.

Please if you need to cancel an appointment give me 24 hrs notice as a courtesy so I can try to fill the appointment. 🐾

Imagine if you went to work and they said sorry you're not getting paid today... That is what a No Show is for groomers, hair dressers, estheticians etc

This St Bernard showed up at my gate, wanted to play with my dogs. (The reason my dogs were barking was to let me know this sweetheart was at my gate)

Before and After

This boy had very tight knots from lots of swimming and not letting his people brush him thoroughly.... After 45 minutes of working on a single massive knot and not splitting apart, it was apparent that the best thing for his comfort and well-being was a strip.

As a groomer, I never want to shave a double coated breed, but sometimes it is the best option for their comfort.

His coat will grow in nicely for summer and the coat can be brushed thoroughly as it grows in. 💕

Update on my injury:

MRI was done a few weeks ago and I now have adhesive capsulitis of my shoulder (frozen shoulder).

The good news is I can't really make it worse by working. The bad news is I still have a limited and painful range of motion.

I'm still doing physiotherapy and my dr is referring me to a specialist. I'm doing everything in my power to get this injury healed!

This means I'm still unable to groom some of my more difficult clients, I simply do not have the strength in my arm or the reflexes to handle super jumpy and biting pets.

I believe I have been in contact with everyone regarding appointments and rescheduling. If I've missed you please message me (remember I have the memory of a goldfish and will forget about voicemails😞)

As many of you know, Becca has started college in Lindsay this year! She is taking Conservation Biology at Frost Campus. I am driving her back and forth until she gets her G2 (lots of driving back and forth). I get a lot for questions about the grooming process and why it can take so long.... Miss Dory was an excellent lady to share her groom today.... A proper groom entails a "rough cut", followed by a bath and dry, then the "finishing cut". It is by following this process that ensures a clean, detailed, crisp finished groom as shown in this reel. I take great pride in my work and want your fur babies to look and feel their absolute best 💕

It has been a very hectic few months of grooming for the Holiday Season, my already full schedule was overflowing! I still have messages to return, but I've just finished grooming my last pet of the season. I now have some family things to do and will return messages early next week. Grooming has been incredibly busy! I appreciate your continued support 💞. Please note: I only have one appointment for a full groom left in July and then I am booking into mid August and September. I can usually squeeze some nail trims in before my morning appointment starts or when my afternoon appointments are done. Nails trims are only $10! I often get asked these questions, so figured I will answer here: 🐩 Why is my availability so far in advance? Simply, it is because most of my clients schedule their entire year of grooming by January, so that their pet's are groomed every 6 to 8 weeks. My weekends fill up the fastest! I do my best to accommodate everyone. 🐈 How long does a groom take? Each pet takes me anywhere from 1 hour to 5 hours, depending on the breed and what is required. The average is 2 hours per pet for a full groom. I only groom one pet at a time (like I always have) to ensure they get my full attention. I take great pride in my work and want your pet to emjoy their spa day and to feel and look good. 🐕 Why are you hard to get a hold of? I try to check my voice-mail at night and return calls in the morning before I start my work day or in the afternoons when I'm done. Some days are so busy, I don't even get a chance to check messages for a week. I do return calls as soon as I physically can, even if it might not be as quick as I want. I promise I'm not ignoring you if you leave me a message, I will get back to you! I also am not able to answer my phone when I am grooming, so please leave a message, text me or leave a PM here. We have over twenty five years of experience within the pet industry, including animal husbandry study and clinic work.

We also offer Professional Grooming services for all breeds of dog, cat, and bird. Our groomer has over 20 years of experience, including hand stripping and breed specific show styling.
