Join us at Free From Farm Sanctuary for a work day next Sunday, November 24th, from 1pm -4pm!!

Our primary focus will be to scoop p**p before the big snow, but we are also up for anything! Come ready to get dirty and have fun!!

Please wear old sneakers or boots and work /gardening gloves if possible. Dress warm!! The forecast is projecting about -1 that day. If you have tools to bring, such as: a shovel, p**p scoop, rake, etc, that would be awesome, but definitely not required.

Beverages will be provided.

We are very excited to go out and spend the afternoon together with animals and good people. See you there!!

Some of the names for our new girls! So far we have Mabel who will have a blue band, Lois who will have a white band, Gyzelle who will have a red band and “still thinking of a perfect name” 🥰 who will have a black band. There are still two girls that have not been sponsored. If you wish to sponsor one send $25 to [email protected] and comment her name and with either green or yellow band colour. They are settling very well. 🤍

The only equine left to have her hoof trim sponsored is our sweet Casey! This timid girl came last fall starving and fighting a painful abscessed tooth infection. Getting her better was our top priority but we quickly shifted to gaining her trust to be able to provide routine care such as hoof trimming. She was falling to sleep on me and Debbie, literally on us! I’d say we succeeded in gaining her trust! 😂🥰 If you would like to sponsor her mani/pedi please etranfer $50 to [email protected]

We LOVE chickens! So when friends asked us to take in the last of their rescue hens we could not say no! Thank goodness Janine, the chicken whisperer is our good friend and bestest supporter! ❤️🙏🏼🤗 We treated them for mites/lice, scaly leg and trimmed their nails. They came from a good place but it is very common for chickens. They got snacks and love. Welcome home girls. Sponsor a girl and you can name her! 💕💕💕 there are six. Farrier day and we are looking for sponsors! 🙏🏼 Equine are trimmed every 4 weeks during the warm months and 6-8 weeks during the colder months. Trimming is an important part of their health and care. This world day for farmed animals please consider leaving them off your plate. Approximately 92.2 billion land animals are slaughter for food each year.
