Sweet Angel! Her daughter moved away today! There she stands on my driveway staring at me through my kitchen window! Just sharing the sadness I guess. Stress ate all afternoon as I brought fresh feed soon as baby drove away! Isn't that what any momma would do?😘

This is why we sell our Rainbow Eggs with Bloom Intact! And honestly eggs for my own use have sat on the counter far longer than 2weeks-no issue.

Its been a rough couple years! Between the flood of 2019 and 2020, the draught if 2021 and lack of sales for 2022! I'm selling off some of my small herd of Nigerian does and Nigerian &/or Pygmy X kids. Must go to make room for new arrivals, just not enough feed for all! Prices Negotiable and willing to trade for good quality hay as my connection didnt pan out!😫 Msg me for more info. Located in Rochester.

The bitter sweetness of mini farming! Badger and Brady were my favorite and for a lot of other people to! But Pastel was exceptionally handsome🤩 All 3 are off to their new homes this week! Good people take my lil guys home to become their pets and I can only have faith they all have happy lives🙏🏼🥰🤗🥺👋

So I'm increasing the flock size and ordered 10 more young hens!👏🏼 Here are the first 4 to arrive. Two Speckled Sussex and 2 Black Australorpes and already donated their first 2 eggs in under 24hrs❣
These seem to be getting along very well with my silkies, amercaunas and crosses! Time to get on the naming wagon! Lol😃

I'm getting a dozen rainbow eggs a day now and would like to share their value with others! They are raised naturally on fermented cracked whole grains grown with little to NO chemicals and with supplements! What a perfect night🌃!
What do you think when you think hay bales? I think 🌟star gazing!! I haven't done it in 20 years but I have a few round bales here that I had brought in for the 🐐goats and every night I rush around prying and forkin feed off of it & it reminds me of when I was a kid! I'd always crawl up on a hay bale or snuggle up in a stack or even lay in the feeder and look up at the stars 🌟!
Well tonight was perfect for it! The moon was bright, the sky was clear, the rain has quit (odd to say🤭) the wind is not blowing and its not 40° below!! It is actually -1 ...perfect!🙂 So I hopped up top, you know just for a minute. The dog came by, I hauled her 100lb old lady butt up and gave her my warmed up spot and I gazed as she sat guard. What a perfect night! And then there it is. The smell of a bog fire! What the? I sit up and the the whole field is suddenly white with smoke! Yup the farmer who's just gotta burn his bush piles and so it burns all damn winter!😤 The end of my perfect night of star gazing in 20years! Gotta love the country!🙄 Lol And I do🥰😍💗
