Happy New Year, everyone! I just started back to nail cuttings after enjoying a lovely holiday with my family! We have some new followers, so I figured it'd be a great chance to introduce myself and explain the business a bit for anyone new!

My name is Autumn, and I started this business in September 2021. I am a mother of 2, and I currently have 1 dog, 1 cat, and 2 guinea pigs. I do this as a part time job, on top of a full time job. It is a unique service wherein we offer nail trimming services for your animals where they are most comfortable, in your home! Back when I worked at the local animal shelter, I used to see so many animals come in for nail trims that were petrified, timid, nervous, car sick etc. Plus there were so many sounds, smells, visuals etc that a lot of the animals went into sensory overload, which can lead to anxiety and aggression. Animals thrive on bonds of trust, and that is hard when it may be someone different always cutting their nails at places like the groomers or a shelter setting. I have 4 plus years of nail cutting experience on dogs, cats, rabbits, and Guinea pigs. I know where to cut, how short to cut, and I also shape their nails so that there are no jagged edges.

My goal is to make the experience as calming and enjoyable as possible for your animal. When I come to your home, I will get down on the animal's level, play with them a bit or pet them, to let them know I am someone to be trusted. I take breaks as needed and I talk to them throughout the experience to assure them.

My goal is to offer this service at an affordable price range(my prices depend on location) so that everyone is able to ensure their animals are comfortable and have properly cut nails. I serve all of Restigouche County. No animal is too scared, nervous, aggressive, etc for me. I have all the proper tools, to provide a service as unique as your animal!

When trimming the nail, it is important to stay far enough from the quick to avoid causing pain or drawing blood. Cutting this nerve can cause pain and trauma to the animal, resulting in a fear of nail trimming.
