What an amazing opportunity!! I swear us horse people have the most interesting hobbies! Parker’s new momma does falconry hunting! I was lucky enough to not only meet but hold one 😍 she also had a baby owl!! Both dad and myself are so excited for Parker’s future being a falconry horse!

CJ “Chocolate Justice” has been so good this breeding season. He stands like a seasoned pro while I get everyone ready. I truly think his favorite part of breeding is getting his snacks afterward while I walk his mare 😂

Lizz and Joker had another amazing show! There were some really amazing competitors in her class! Super proud of how far these two have come!
1st- Command
2nd- Western Horsemanship, Trail, Poles, Thread the needle
3rd- Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Reining, Stake race

Riggs got to come home today!! It’s going to be a long road to recovery and a lot could go wrong. I honestly couldn’t do it without all the amazing people who help me.

We still need all the good vibes sent our way!

We had the first outside mare of the year confirmed in foal to CJ aka Chocolate Justice! This mare is bred beautifully and will make a heck of a cross with CJ!

Well today was one busy vet visit 😅
Candy was confirmed in foal today to Greyson! This will be Greyson’s first ever foal and Candy’s first ever mule foal!

One of our new broodmares (Montana)that we bought open is indeed not open 🤦‍♀️ she is approximately 4.5 months pregnant…… with twins🫣 not much we can do for her other than give her all the care necessary for a healthy pregnancy. The chances of her losing both are very high but we will do our best with the crap hand we are delt!

Finally! We got to visit Riggs today and he’s doing well! He’s switching from IV meds to oral meds. So thankful for all the vets and assistants helping him! I’m also very thankful that his momma Drew is such a good chill mare. She is exactly the mentality we look for in our broodmares. Even the vets as the clinic think she’s an amazing mare to have around!

Well…. I knew things were going too smooth for a month and a half. I found Riggs with a humongous wound. I swear horses look for a way to hurt themselves. Drew was such a good momma and let us help her baby. We need all the good vibes for this boy!

CJ is a big hit with Dilla an outside mare! She’s currently in love with him. Gotta love when a seasoned mare and stallion know their job!!!

Finally got to spend some time with Riggs outside! He does have white hairs on his bum so I’m thinking he’ll look like his Dam eventually!

Drew “RB Goerifics Dream” is finally on foal watch!! We have 3 days until her official due date and she is our last mare to foal this year. She is bred to CJ “Chocolate Justice”

Greyson covered his first ever mare today!!! He was such a good boy!

He will only be getting one mare for his introductory year. That lucky mare is Candy! She wasn’t as pleased about her long eared date 😂

Lizz and Joker “SW Smooth Machoman” are such outstanding team!! First Regional 4-h show competing in level 4 and they rocked it!!
Joker placed:
1st English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Western Horsemanship, and Ranch horse pleasure.
2nd English Equitation, Handy Horse, Dressage, Hunter Hack 2’, and Showmanship.
3rd Trail, and Reining.
4th Delsey derby
6th Command, Hunter Hack 1’6, and Poles

Lizz also showed her 2yr old Indy “Lizzie Who”! This was Indy’s first ever show and she did amazing! She got 1st In hand Trail, and 2nd in Showmanship in a class of 7 against 3-5yr old horses! So happy with how far they’ve come in a year!

A spotted filly!!! 😍 CJ “Chocolate Justice” and Myloh “T.Q Ba.Ba Bar Maid” definitely did amazing with their first ever foal together! No idea for a name yet but this girl will definitely be a keeper!!!
