ALLLLL RIIGHHHTTT!!!
Equine therapies...
Some of you horse lovers' must of heard of (or may have got done) Equine Therapies for your Partner in crime. But, honestly, do you really know the different kinds of therapies and how they help restore your athletes body and/or mind?
Well, here is a quick debriefing on some of the therapies that I offer at the moment and how your horse could benefit from them!
First of all MY FAVORITE..
*****MFR (Myo-Fascial Release)******
Every nerve, blood vessel, organ, bone, and muscle all lie within the fascia. The fascia connects every single part of our body and allowes all the systems/structures to work together. If one area of the fascia is injured or not working proper, it affects the rest of your horses movement, posture and overall attitude.
I highly recommend a MFR treatment if your horse has had any of these:
- Trauma
- Inflammation
- Overuse
- Repetitive training
- Poor fit saddle
- Surgery
- Direct Injury
- Stress/Strain
- Poor nutrition
- Bad footing
MFR is a whole body release using a slower, gentler technique.
SECOND.....
*****Craniiosacral Skelatal System Therapy (CST)*****
CST releases the "third pulse" in your horses body (similar to heartbeat and breathing). To do this we are actually working with your horses sutures.
Sutures connect the bones of the skill. Sutures connect the Cerebrovascular fluid, Central Nervous System and Sacrum (Head to tail).
By releasing the 'Third Pulse' your horses body will flow more freely and improve overall balance.
It canNOT flow freely if there has been:
- Injury or trauma (head, spine, hind)
- Stress or negative emotions
- Toxicity
- Normal aging
You may notice restrictions in you horses flow or overall balance if:
- Cribbing or weaving is a problem
- Head shaking/tossing
-Tinnitus
- Blocked tear ducts
- TMJ issues
- Wringing of their tail
CST also manipulates or tricks the Central Nervous System to restore the 'third pulse' on their own. It enhancing its own self healing with every treatment they recieve.
CST also realigns skeletal structure and full body relaxation.
