We have decided that our Gymkhana on Sunday was so much fun, we are making a series out of it! Details to come out soon but will be run very similarly to our Obstacle Challenge Series!

We are a competitive bunch so we welcome everyone, however these are designed as all inclusive and fun events for the whole family with our focus on beginners to the sport. We will start will everyone competing together and then will separate based on performance into a novice and advanced per age division.

Too busy today to remember pictures but was a fantastic day! A bit of trail in the morning with some gymkhana and fun classes this afternoon. Pictured here are Candy with Roy and Abi with Bailey as well as some participants in the 'Egg Stomp' fun class. Congrats to all of our winners and a huge thank you to all our competitors for coming out. Massive thank you to our fabulous judge Paula, you were an absolute delight to have! Can't wait to do this again!

Last call for all entries for the show and gymkhana. Entries have continued to trickle in and we hate saying no, but the hard and fast deadline entry is tomorrow, Thursday August 28th at noon. No new entries will be processed after that sobif you are on the fence and thinking you are too late, get those entries in!

A couple private bookings changing the posted schedule:

Arena is closed Thursday August 29th from 7 pm to 8 pm, Friday August 30th from 9 am to 10 am and Saturday September 14th from 1 pm to 3 pm.

We also have plumbers in the arena relocating heaters on Tuesday September 10th and the arena will likely be unusable for a large portion of the day.

UPDATE: MODIFICATION TO THE COURSE

We are now offering a demo instead of the Light to Core course.

The Masterson Method 3 Hour Interactive Demo! We will fill 2 sessions to start with, 10 to 12 per session. Please note your preference of Friday evening, Saturday morning or Saturday afternoon when booking. [email protected]

The cost is only $75 per person (plus haul in fee if using your own off site horse).

Learn the very basics of The Masterson Method with easy light touch techniques! Help your horse release tension while you develop a deeper connection to your horse! Folks will learn the essence of The Masterson Method, Integrated Equine Performance Bodywork! By learning the Bladder Meridian and how light touch can release deep tension in the horse and help you make a deeper connection with them. We work WITH the horse not just on the horse.

The Masterson Method is a unique, interactive method of equine bodywork that anyone can learn, to help build trust with the horse. With The Masterson Method®, you learn to recognize and use the responses of the horse to find and release tension. In contrast to traditional massage, it works with the horse’s nervous system and the horse actively participates in the process. It is something you do with the horse, rather than to the horse. This participation and interaction are what makes the method fulfilling for those who use it and transformational for the horse. In this new hands-on course, you will learn subtle, gentle, simple bodywork that has the ability to profoundly affect the deepest interconnections of the horse’s body. The principle of staying under the bracing response of the horse is the foundation of Masterson Method bodywork. Light to the Core is the subtlest demonstration of this.

This course is for any horse owner or handler; no knowledge of anatomy is required and you will not be picking up the horse’s legs. Light to the Core is also suitable and beneficial for students on up to the most experienced practitioners of The Masterson Method.

CLINIC ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Very excited to welcome Jody Busch Horsemanship November 1 through 3, 2024! This clinic will consist of a group 2-hour classroom session on Friday night as well as a 3-hour AM OR PM session both Saturday and Sunday. Only $230 per person for this fantastic clinic, now with shorter sessions for those that found that full days were too tough for yourself or your horse. We are hosting the Masterson Light to the Core course in September! Please let me know which date is better if seriously interested. Once a date is chosen, participants will register online for this course. 2 day hands on course with the option to watch the prerequisite DVD as a group the night before. Contact for more details. Either September 6-8 OR September 20-22. Cost is under $500USD for the whole weekend of learning, $410 for the course and $35 for the video. Option to add in a demo as well for additional fee. This information is invaluable folks, act quickly!

This clinic has something for everyone! With our winter obstacle series winding up, this is a great way to get a head start on future events. The dressage component is such good training and foundation for absolutely any discipline. I really love this sport as it is so welcoming of any breed, discipline and style of rider. A pair with any background can do well with some time, patience, dedication and the right instruction. Dee is the real deal to get you going.
