We may focus on rescuing Canadian dogs but we believe that every dog deserves a chance at a wonderful life, free of hunger, needless suffering, neglect and abuse.

This impending Canadian ban on the import of dogs from countries is devastating, unfair, not based in evidence, and does nothing to address the actual issues at hand.

It will be a death sentence for millions of dogs across the world, and it will throw good, responsible and reputable rescue organizations in these countries into an utterly impossible situation.

There are better and more evidence based solutions.
