Pups are on their way but are all spoken for. This will be it for 2023. 2 litters a year is our max to ensure our pups get the care and socialization they need. Stay tuned for 2024 litters.

Littles had their vet appointment. Shot, microchip and the once over by the always patient veterinarian Dr Chris. All did famously and got clean bills of health.

Miss Henley has been bred! The original idea was to breed her to my pied male, Archie, but he was a bit...... immature. She allowed a certain amount of young stupidity but quickly told him off and wouldn't allow him near her. Next up was Nimbus who she categorically said "no" to. I literally just got him in the room and the teeth came out. OOooooookay then. So Bond.... how do you feel about Bond, Henley? Now THAT's what I'm talking about, she said.........And she snuggled right up to Bond and allowed him all the license he needed. So AM CH Honore Never Say Never @ Uwharrie will hopefully be a dad again in a couple of months. All pups are spoken for no matter how many she has :-)

I've been seeing some pretty outrageous prices for IG pups in the GTA and Ottawa areas. Make sure the very expensive puppy you're paying for actually exists. I've had a few people contact me who were ripped off for $3000 to $5000. And of course now they want to get a puppy for much less because they've got no money left :-( I don't know how to make sure you're not getting robbed. Maybe send NO money until you get to meet the puppy. Make the effort and drive to the breeder unless you know them personally. Here at Rythm we won't be having pups here for at least 2 months or more because no one is in heat that we're breeding. To be honest, at this point, I'd be suspicious of anyone who has a puppy sitting on the shelf waiting for you right now. I have a wait list of 16-18 months. Henley is next and I have 3 pups reserved from that litter already, in case she has a small litter. If she has more than 4 (I'm keeping one which is the only reason I breed)then I'll start at the top of my list. People!!! Beware!!! If it sounds too good to be true it very likely is! Happy 2021 and may all of your wishes come true.

Waiting for Henley (Belina Leather And Lace) to come into heat. She'll be bred to Rhamah Rythm In Pursuit of Dragons (Nimbus). All colours except pied! Woohoo!!!! ( so this didn't happen. Sometimes you have to listen to your girl and when she said "no way in this lifetime" to Nimbus we quickly did a re-think on who to breed her to. Bond (AM CH Honore Never Say Never @ Uwharrie in for the win)

We understand that you're home and quarantined. You've got lots of time on your hands and you think this would be the perfect time to get a new puppy. It isn't. First of all most reputable breeder's don't have puppies every single day that you can go and purchase. We breed once, maybe twice a year. Our next litter is spoken for already and likely a good number of the litter after that. If you want a Rythm Italian Greyhound you will probably have to wait until 2021. Or at the very least winter of 2020. We happen to think it's worth the wait but then that's us. It's one thing for a puppy to come and for the owners to take a couple of weeks off work to acclimate the baby to their lives... and for the owners to learn the schedule of the pup. During that time they get their puppy used to being alone for short periods by putting them in their crates and going out for an hour or two. Not now. Now we can't do that. But to be home constantly with a puppy for 2 months, where they can't change their minds without mom and/or dad oooo'ing and ahhh'ing about it, to have that warm body to snuggle up to whenever the fancy strikes them... to have one or three humans at their beck and call to play with, then suddenly they are alone for 9 to 10 hours a day when work starts up again, is pretty traumatic. We are always happy to talk IG. Drop us a line and we'll fill your head with all of the pros and cons (and oh my doG... there are cons) to owning this amazing, quirky, silly breed. But chances of getting a puppy from us in the next 2 months is slim to none. We have had people contacting us for months before quarantine and they will have first refusal. But don't give up. A Rythm IG could still be in your future.

One puppy left from our last litter. “Charming” is staying with some friends for a few weeks to keep his sister company and get him used to young people and different breeds of dogs. 🙂.

All the pups have flown the nest. Male 2 is currently staying with his sister, Freya, to help her get over leaving us. He will get very nicely socialized while he is out and about with them 🙂.
