Awe Mama Lucy looking so great! She is a beautiful girl ,and I'm thrilled she's now in her loving forever home. Thank you to Amy Fraser for originally taking her on and contacting me to help. Also Anna Lind for jumping in to foster ( til we discovered she didn't like horses) ,and to Jordan Bowie for then taking mom and babies in and persevering through all the medical problems.

It’s a good day. This is Lucky. Aptly named I would say. This is the momma who was found strangling in her collar. Eyes bulging. Who then gave birth to 9 pups. She then developed mastitis so bad that massive drugs were needed and the pups had to be hand fed.
Well, Lucky came in with her new owners, Norma and Larry today to get some treats and toys. She now has a home where walks, couch’s, treats and love are a thing she is experiencing for the first time ever. She is being spayed in the near future and is now vaccinated.
This is where the bottle money is going… cause we also have 9 pups to sort out. So drop off those bottles.
This dog has been through hell and back.. and all she does is give kisses. Humans don’t deserve animals, do we.

Hi my name is Gunner, I am about 15 months old . A White Shephard X is best guess. I had my core vaccines and go in on January 18th to be nuetered. This will be covered by the Rescue. I am a bit shy and need time to warm up to you but when I do I love to cuddle up to you. I get along with my foster brothers and sisters who are 2 dogs, 2 cats and a bunny (I am still a bit scared of the bunny). My foster mom is crate training me and I am getting use to it, although I prefer not to be in there for too long. I am fully house trained and my foster mom says I am very smart and I listen to basic commands. I am still a puppy so I do need lots of play time and exercise, and could use training on leash walking. I am a very good boy in a vehicle and I love going for drives. I would be most comfortable in a home that isn't high traffic as I get nervous easily and I am a bit timid of most men.

This is Sweet Celia.She is aproximately 4 months old. Spayed and has had her 2nd core vaccine. She is so sweet but extremely shy. If it's loud and/or crowded she will go hide. But when she's around her people and foster siblings she is a complete mushpot. She will snuggle in and purr while kneading her bread ever so gently on your face, neck and whatever else is close. She would be her best self in a quiet home with another fur sibling or two. She's used to bigger respectful dogs that aren't too energetic. She would be fine in a home with older kids but small kids might not be good as she was feral when she came in and she still spooks very easily and could bite or scratch.

Good morning all.

I have news from the Crown Prosecutor. Please share the news. We did get some justice for Finian, Charlie and Cinder after all.

Although it may not seem like a harsh enough punishment , she has a record now and if caught she will probably do jail time . I am just pleased that these animals had their abuser in a court of law and she now has a record.

My heart goes out to this boy Finn and others like him who get no justice. To my friend Carmen at Lexi’s Relief Rescue ,and other Rescuers who are front line Rescuers and follow all the steps and protocols to try and get these animals justice ,only to be told their wasn't any in the end! How many others will die or suffer ,before the powers that be ,get thier heads out of thier ass ,and follow through with charges and penalties ,on animals abusers! Things need to change!

This cute little guy has recently come into care and is looking for his happy Furever home. He's aproximately 5-6 years old. He's been nuetered and has had his core vaccines. He would like to be the center of attention, and spend as much time as possible with his person. On your lap , in your bed, or in the car he just wants to snuggle close. Not a huge fan of other dogs, he doesn't seem to mind cats though. He would make a lovely boy for a senior couple or person. No noisy kids , or a lively chaotic house for this boy ,as it scares him . This is Thor. Hes aproximately 4 months old . Nuetered and has his first 2 sets of core vaccines. Heres what his foster mom has to say about him. He's loving roaming the house and getting into everything he can. He also LOVES to be loved. He'll follow me around trying to trip me so I'll pick him up and give him snuggles. He's good with the other cats as long as they are ok with him. Muffin ( our cat) has taken them on as hers♥️. He's a sweet boy. He would be good with all respectful animals. He might be shy when he first gets to a new place but he overcomes that pretty fast.

Meet Gucci,
She's a 15-16 month old Boxer X . She's spayed and up to date on core vaccines.
Her Zest for life is something to make you smile. She spent the first 14 month aproximately of her life locked in a crate, emaciated, and covered in her own f***s and urine. To have come out of that ,she now Screams "Freedom ' out of every pore in her body! The wiggles start at her butt ,and end at her head. Her tail could almost be a weapon as she Wags it viciously in greeting everyone. Here's what her foster mom has to say about her.
My name is Gucci and I came into foster care after spending most of my fourteen month life in a crate. Freedom has been wonderful, but there has been a lot for me to learn in the last two months. I am still learning.Apparently, I sometimes play a bit too enthusiastically and mom is trying to convince me I am not a lap dog. I love to go for walks where I normally don’t pull, but recently mom has been teaching me to heel. Walking in the forest is great, but since I am still learning recall I have not been allowed to run free.I think mom is just too nervous, I’d come back honest. Running in the dog park has been great, I haven’t met a dog I haven’t liked. Being a Boxer mix I have lots and lots of energy and would be best suited to a home that can meet my energy be that with older children ( as small ones I'd knock over), or perhaps another dog for me to play with, a large yard, or daily long walks and hikes, as I need exercise. Now don’t get me wrong if you’re busy doing something, once I have checked it out, I will go lie down and wait for you to move again. I am very curious about cats, but they always run away, and I am not allowed to chase them, but they sure are pretty to look at. I still stay in my crate at night and when mom goes out for a bit and that is okay with me, it’s safe and comfortable in there. I can’t wait to get into my furever home where I can lavish you with lot of love. Gucci needs a home that will not only love her ,but provide her with the structure and on going training to make sure she can be the best dog .

Good morning!! Day two of our Boxing Week sale! So, because certain brands don’t want you to advertise them on sale… we ask you to use your imagination!! Things like angler jeans, Mr me jeans, fariat jeans all on sale at 30% off!!! Use your imagination… sounds like!!! Haha! All clothing storwide on sale until Saturday! And the big one… pet food all on sale! Every brand! We had lots of folks in yesterday for that! And houseplants… every single plant we have is 50% off.
Open regular hours until Saturday and then we are closed Sunday and Monday to get our party on!! And today is Wednesday… so it’s seniors day as well!!! Let’s do this!

Hey folks, we still have about 15 bags of dog food and about 8 bags of cat food left for free. This is aimed towards folks having a hard time making ends meet. Even if you have been in already , please come and get some more. We love helping folks out. We were out, but some of our staff donated their staff feeder food. Come on in… no questions asked.

We are out of jail and have so much to share!!!! We should be advertising, but instead let’s just share some fun stuff. First off, thanks for your patience while we were in jail… lol. That was fun. My hubby always said I would end up in jail… just thought it would be for something more substantial! Anyhow folks… few things. Please note we are closed this Sunday December 24 and 25. Retail is a tough gig right now and we thought wouldn’t it be nice if our crew actually got to spend Christmas Eve with their families. So, please get all your pet food and feed you may need . Secondly, we are still collecting bottles and cans for Leslie Long. Those puppies and mom she took in are have some health issues and every can counts! So drop them off.
And thirdly and most importantly… WE MISSED YOU ALL!!!
We still have some free dog food and free trees for those who need some help right now! Come on down for a visit!!! We’re back in action baby!!

So today we did the draw on the raffle for the quilt and raised dog feeding station.
Lucky winners are Gina Neumann for the Quilt ,and Ryan Hunt for the Dog Feeding Station. Congratulations to both.
Thank you to all that purchased tickets ! We were able to raise $2,115.00 . This will go towards the vetting of a mama and 9 little pups we have in care. Thank you again to Maureen Rockwood who made this year's beautiful quilt.

Hey everyone.! Piglet here from the Cranbrook store. We know life is expensive right now and some folks are struggling to make ends meet. My mom says she is still shocked every time she gets groceries. Anyways we have some free dog and cat food to give to folks that are having a hard time.
