For a $100 donation, you will get naming rights to the puppy of your choosing - including a certificate with your name, the pup’s name, and their picture! Your donation will cover the cost of the dog’s first vaccines and deworming.

Welcome these 4 beautiful souls to the rescue. They made the long journey from Kimmirut Hamlet in Baffin Island, Nunavut this past Friday. They are settling into their foster homes and will be available for adoption in the next few weeks once they decompress and we ensure they are healthy.

Thank you Sash-Mar Paws Helping Northern Dogs and Flights For Hope for their hard work and dedication to northern dogs, just like these puppies. Team work makes the dream work.

It was a big travel day for this group, coming in from Northern Ontario and Nunavut. A huge thank you to those that kept this mom and babies safe and to Sash-Mar Paws Helping Northern Dogs for entrusting us with the Nunavut crew. We also want to thank the fosters that opened up their hearts and homes to these sweet souls.

She is a typical husky who has a lot of energy and will need a home that can offer her mental and physical enrichment. She would not be suitable for an apartment. She will make a kind addition to an active home as she is a beautiful and kind pup.

This week, we said goodbye to sweet little Meadow and Kiki. They were 2 of the 8 yorkies we brought into care in October, and unfortunately the damage from their previous living situation took too much of a toll on their little bodies. These were two very sweet and gentle dogs who deserved homes of their own. We’re very grateful to Meadow’s foster Annemarie, and Kiki’s foster Debbie - who showed these dogs what love and compassion feels like … even if it was only for a few weeks. If you’d like to donate towards the girls’ care, or their sibling’s upcoming dental surgeries - we would gratefully accept EMTs to [email protected]. Rest In Peace Meadow and Kiki, say hello to Riverview’s furry friends that have already crossed the rainbow bridge. Please be patient with our team as we mourn the loss of these two sweet souls.
