Everyday I asked myself why I love horses🙃🙂

📣We are stepping out of our comfort zone and trying something new!

As some of you know, I have been having some issues with Pi, which has forced us to take a deep look at nutrition. This has led me down the road to Beyond-Soy Equine. I reached out as there is nowhere to get it on the island at the moment, and low and behold, we are going to try carrying it in-store! 🥳

This unique feed is milled in Alberta. Soy-Free, Corn-Free & Grain-Free: Non-Hot Complete Horse Ration with low sugar and starch levels. Suitable for horses with dietary or digestive limitations. Formulated on the Bio-stead Balance Plus+ system, including diamond V yeast, probiotics, balanced proteins, amino acids, and omega fatty acids. With advanced custom equine vitamin & mineral micros. Flexible low consumption rates for all stages of horses when fed with quality hay or pasture.

- Winter Hoof Care

Sometimes, horse's hooves need more support living in a climate they are not designed to live in! Thankfully, some products can help the hooves become as healthy as possible. Reminder, though, that proper hoof and coat health comes from nutrition first. ❤🐴

💦 Keratex Hoof Gel - This is one of my favorite products for our wet coast. The Hoof Gel helps create a barrier preventing the hooves from becoming oversaturated.

💪 Keratex Hoof Harnder - Tried and tested. This product has been around for a long time because it works well. If your horse has sensitive feet, this is one to try!

🛡️Keratex Mud Shield - If you are battling Mud Fever, this is one I would try. The Equiderma Coat Defense would be on the list too. The key to treating Mud Fever is keeping your horse's legs as try and clean as possible. These powders help to draw up any extra moisture and keep the leg dry!

🩺 Hoof Doctor - Looking for overall hoof support? You can't go wrong with Hoof Doctor! This oil not only makes hoofs look stunning and filled with all the good stuff, including Birch Bark Extracts with Organic Oils, including Omega 3, Vitamins A & D!

#Tack Tip Tuesday - Icelandic Bridle

#TackTipTuesday - Icelandic Bridle Have I ever mentioned how much I love neat tack? I really like the simple design of this BR Icelandic Bridle. With padded adjustability at the top of the crown, this bridle would work well to fit a range of ponies. It has a simple style noseband without adding bulk to the face. I thought it would be an excellent solution for some ponies looking for the hard-to-fit ponies who want a simple style. I also have the matching reins too, which are nice and thin! Since this bridle is designed for Icelandic Horses, I have a fun fact for you! The Icelandic horse have two additional gaits in addition to the normal walk, trot and canter. They can also tölt and skeið.

#TackTipTuesday - Brushing Boots

Let's continue our Boot conversation in this week's #TackTipTuesday 🐴 This boot goes by many different names, including a Brushing Boot, Dressage Boot, or Splint Boots. This versatile boot works for many different disciplines and riding styles. It simply wraps around the cannon bone, protecting it from brushing or interference. To get the right size, you want to measure the circumference and length of the cannon bone. They often come in small, medium, and large sizes. When getting the right fit, you want to ensure it isn't too tall and interferes with the knee or fetlock. If the boot is too small, you won't be able to get the boot around the leg comfortably. ⭐️Fun Fact: Typically, the hind legs will take a larger size as the cannon bone is longer than the front legs. Evolution Equestrian Consignment

Cleaning out your tack room? Let me give you a hand. We accept a range of tack and equipment for all disciplines. With an eye for marketing, and years of working in the industry, I am here to help you sell your tack.

Please send us a message to arrange a drop off.

We accept:

· Saddles (in good, usable condition)

· High-end select tack

General Consignment Information

i. Evolution Equestrians accepts quality tack is in new or excellent condition only. Evolution Equestrian reserves the right to refuse items based on quality and condition. Items must be brought in clean. There will be a $30 minimum cleaning fee for saddles that arrive dirty and need to be cleaned before selling.

ii. All items are received under the condition that the Consignor has full and clear ownership of consigned items.

iii. All items sold of the consignor’s behalf are sold AS IS, with no warranty implied or perceived on behalf of the consignor by Evolution Equestrian, its owners or employees. Until sold, donated or otherwise stated, the title for all items remains in the name of the Consignor.

iv. Evolution Equestrian retains the right to: return items for any reason, at any time, and contact law enforcement without further notice regarding any items consigned.

v. The Consignor grants permission to Evolution Equestrian to use images of any items and to remove such items for the purpose of marketing.

vi. Evolution Equestrian will notify the Consignor(s) when their item(s) has sold. The Consignor then has thirty (30) days to collect payment.

vii. All item(s) are listed and sold in Canadian Dollars. All payments are only made in Canadian dollars.

Consignment Fees (applied to sold items)

A 20% consignment fee will be applied to all items.

If saddles come into be cleaned a minimum of a $30 fee will be applied on top of the commission fee.

Consignment Period

Items are consigned for a minimum of thirty (30) days from being received.

The consignment period is deemed over (ended) when the item(s) has sold, the consignor has requested the item(s) back and/or Evolution Equestrian has requested the item(s) be picked up.

Evolution Equestrian may request the item(s) be collected at any time, without reason.

Pick Up Period

24 hours’ notice is required by phone or email prior to picking up the Consignors item(s).

Items requested for Pick Up at any time during the Consignment Period, either by the Consignor or Evolution Equestrian, will be held of a maximum of twenty one (21) days. Items not picked up with twenty one (21) days become the property of Evolution Equestrian with no further obligation to sell for or return to the Consignor.

Shipping is available; a handling fee, shipping costs and insurance are payable in advance by consignor.

Consignor Responsibility, Risk and General Liability

It is the Consignor’s responsibility to confirm sales, payment, pick up items when requested, and ensure Evolution Equestrian has current contact information.

All items are left entirely at the Consignors risk. Evolution Equestrian, its owners, employees, servants and agents will not be held responsible for loss due to theft, accidental damage or fire. Evolution Equestrian will use reasonable conventional safeguards in the handling, storing and displaying of all goods.
