This is what 👏🏼 ANNUAL 👏🏼 DENTALS 👏🏼 DO 👏🏼
•more comfortable mastication (chewing/ grinding)
•more symmetrical muscle movements
•better contact with the bit
Everything in the mouth from the incisors, to the premolars and molars is just as important to equilibrate. A balanced mouth is like a balanced foot, and you all know how important that is !
Book now for your annual dentals before the show season starts!
Nice little correction done on this DGL today 🤩
One of the coolest cases I’ve seen ! Got to hangout with from Elite Equine for this cool 8yo!
Recommended some radiographs to checkout the anatomy of the tooth!
Happy Thursday everyone !!
As much as I am enjoying my time in Arizona, I am excited to get home and see everyone’s smiling faces.
I will be home March 17th, I am already booking up very fast into April.
I believe some of you may know, I got in a horse accident while in Arizona and fractured the radial head in my right arm. I will still be healing from that when I get home. But will be working.
With that being said as much as I preach about having “good horses” for my client base. I can’t stress enough how important this is right now..
I am not strong enough or healed enough to fight your horses if they are giving me grief. So, if there are any young horses or horses that can’t stand. I ask that I do not do them. Or we find an alternative method..
Coming into spring🌸 ☀️
It is that time of year to get your dentals done!!
Book now before spots fill up too fast for spring shoes, chiro and dentals !
Have a great day!!
Got to get a dental done today on an 11yo gelding. Annual dentals have been done for the last 9 years.
I love seeing beautiful mouths like this after over a year after the last dental!
Take a look at the bitseats from the last dental still helping out these equine athletes with bit pressure on the 6s🤩
📢 EXCITING NEWS ! 📢
Im always open to learning. It seems, as many people know… the equine body is so complex and I am blessed to be one who bases their life/ career around horses. Since I have finished my chiro & massage, dentistry and farrier schooling, I have been seeking more education..
I and VERY excited to announce that I am officially taking my classes for Equine Nutrition!
I couldn’t be more excited to learn from one of the best in the industry!
Here’s to 2024, more goals, more learning!!
The best part about my job and the academy that I graduated from, is that I must complete a certain amount of continuing education hours to keep my international and academy certification.
This is a great way to keep up on new research & technology. The IAED conference is awesome for dentists from all over the world to get together and challenge eachother to better our skills and knowledge.
I was very fortunate to be able to attend this year in Fort Worth Texas!
For all my clients or someone considering booking for dentals. This is a great confidence builder that you have your horses in the right hands, dentists who never stop learning 💪🏻
Busy busy last couple of days before I head to Arizona for the winter! Was able to get some horses feeling better in sundre, rimbey, vermillion and wainwright!
Had a case where the 103 was discoloured at first glance, after probing and examining it, you can see that there is no pulp left in this tooth. The pulp is the main vessel for the tooth that keeps it alive, however when the pulp is exposed it can die and cause a tooth to look like this.
There was a drain tract on the causal side of the 103, indicating that it is intact infected and draining through the tract.
The 103 was pulled, and this boy should be feeling much better after healing!
#103
Here is a great video by Dr.Moore that I feel
Everyone needs to listen to. Only 5 min of your time for a lifetime of knowledge.
Take the time, learn the thing.
Why it is so important to choose an equine dentist that has the education.
And if you havnt already watched some more of his videos, check them out!
Got to take on some new client horses yesterday, trimmed up and ready for the first snow fall!
Message to book today!

Just Levi'n Photography got a sweet picture of the Elevate Equine sign at LANTIN RANCH PRACTICE PEN in Rimbey!
A set of Heel Toe shoe’s done for a nice summer mountain trip !
A nice little foot due for some clean up!
Check out the banner in the back😍
Jake got a pamper day this week, with fresh feet, relaxed muscles and aligned bones, he’s going to be feeling hot 🔥
Today was a very long day for me…
As many of you know, on top of shoeing, I am also an equine dentist and an equine body worker. Which then puts my already high demand even higher.
On top of the constant ringing phone that I get to answer for my clients, I also rodeo full time and have my own family and needs to tend to….
This was my last horse of the day which got added to my schedule along with 2 other horses, after my work day was supposed to be done (typical)
I just wanted to post this video to show how fast and easy my job can be, along with my clients being ready for me, a good standing horse is what makes or breaks me.
I am not big, I am not strong.
But, I am patient, I am forgiving and I am understanding.
I get it as well as anyone else, horses have bad days. But I can tell you from experience, a good horse doesn’t have a bad day very often. And sure as heck isn’t every time the farrier comes.
I am posting this video for you to guess how long it takes for me to trim 1 horse.
Just to show how much more I could get done in a day, along with how much more strength and energy I would have if you’re horse too, stood great for the farrier every time.
In return for the lucky winner of my guessing game,
If you share and comment on this post. The winner will get 2 FREE trims.
For those of you who answered my post, the answer is 4minutes and 40 seconds is how long it takes to fully trim this horse who is on a 7 week rotation fully balanced and trimmed.
Working on getting these little feet looking a bit better for some heavy feetlot work, with these nice keystone leather pads!
Please read! Especially the last paragraph!
