Everything is made of energy. Quantum theory holds that all reality consists of energy fields. This vital energy extends beyond the physical body to create a field around it. When the energy field is blocked it can cause an imbalance. If left too long that imbalance can lead to a physical and/or emotional ailment. Reiki healing has the ability to remove the blockage to allow the body to heal itself. Universal energy travels through the hands of the practitioner through an animal's pathways and centres, then through the whole body.

Animal Reiki is based on traditional Japanese healing techniques by channeling positive energy into our companion animals while honouring and acknowledging them.

Reiki is ideal for pets and all animals because it is gentle and noninvasive. The practice never hurts an animal.

Reiki doesn't require physical contact and can be done from a distance. It corrects energy imbalances in an animal's body. A cat or dog session usually lasts 15 to 30 minutes.
