🌟 What’s the difference between confidence and bravery? 🐾
And how is that important when it comes to working with the dog in front of you? 🐶
It can help to think of it like this:
Imagine a confident dog as one who is rarely worried about the world. 🌍 A bush rustles, and it’s pretty much guaranteed that a confident dog is going to assume it’s something good. 🍃 Confident dogs are bombproof. Their view of the world is positive. When asked the question, “Is it good or is it bad?”, their answer will pretty much always be a resounding “good!” 🌟
Now, a brave dog, on the other hand, is a dog who is worried from time to time. 😟 A rustling bush could well signal danger. A novel item in an unusual place could be something bad. 🧟♂️ But a brave dog is able to push through that worry even when they’re not feeling brave! 💪🐕
The great thing about concept training is that you can play games that teach your dog to flex their optimism muscle, and change their brain to be more optimistic. 🧠💪 Suddenly, things that spooked them are less scary. 😌 Situations that might previously have overwhelmed them, they can now take in their stride. 🐕✨

I was up this morning
Before the sun even began to stir
