🐶💩 Why Dogs Eat P**p

There are two main reasons dogs eat p**p: medical or behavioral. Here’s a breakdown of the possible causes:

Medical Issues
- Enzyme deficiency
- EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency)
- Other malabsorption diseases like IBD
- Parasites
- Diabetes or thyroid problems
- Medications
- Underfeeding

Behavioral Reasons
- Cleanliness
- Puppies
- Scavengers
- Boredom
- Attention seeking
- Stress
- Punishment
- Learning from other dogs

Don’t Make P**p A Big Deal
Punishing your dog for eating stool isn’t effective. Don’t make a fuss about it. Instead, focus on your dog’s digestive health, ensure he gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. With time and patience, you can figure out why your dog is eating p**p and help him stop. But remember, p**p eating is normal behavior!
