Have you heard of Blue-Green Algae? It's something that dog owners should be aware of. Especially if you like to take your dog hiking and swimming in nature.

Blue-Green Algae can be found in ponds, lakes and other places where water is present during warm, summer months. It can be poisonous to dogs if they swim in it or drink from water where the algae may be.

So excited to take part in this vendor show! ❤️ We will also be hosting a Q&A at 2:30pm where attendees will be able to ask all of their burning questions about rehab and we will be taking infrared scans of all pets at a sale price so you can see what your pet looks like under the infrared spectrum! Sonny's healing journey was just posted and we had a lot of people messaging in about the infrared image scans, so we thought to make a post explaining further! Infrared imaging is one of the many services that we provide. We use it as an essential diagnostic tool to show us areas of discomfort, pain and inflammation so we can better target our therapies. It is included in every first exam and followup exams.
In Sonny's case he had an ankle fracture and we can clearly see that and the compensation from that injury on these scans. We can see the inflammation extending from the ankle, knee to the hip, as well as mild compensation in the back and shoulders. The last scan shows a complete recovery in all of these areas after rehab. The only heat seen is normal coming from the eyes, ears and butt, with slight heat on the thighs from him sitting on the patio after being outside in the heat prior to these images being taken.
That's why we love infrared imaging! It helps keep a baseline for us to compare going forward and is a great visual representation for both us and the client.

To all of those who celebrate, Happy Canada Day from all of us at Healing Hearts. And to all of you who don't, we hear you, we stand with you and we acknowledge that this country with its complex history has a lot to learn and grow from. How does distance healing work?

That’s a great question. I’m so glad you asked 🙂

One of the things I love most about energy work is that it’s so powerful that it can be done at any distance. And my PETs for Animals service is no different. Here’s how it works:

📲You and I will book a time to chat about you, your animal and their current situation and behaviours.

🐶You’ll send me a recent photo of your pet. I should be able to clearly see their face and body!

💫I’ll energetically connect with your pet and get to work.

💌I’ll send you an email or a note detailing my findings, messages from your pet and any next steps that might be available.

If you’re interested in building a stronger connection with your pet or if your pet suffers from stress, trauma, illness or other ailment but you live far away, then distance healing might be right for you!

🐾 Dr. Erica stopped by the Stratford Humane Society today to plan her vet talks for the Kid's Humane Society Summer Camp this summer! 🌞🐶🐱

Dr. Erica will be leading 2 fun and educational vet talks this July, bringing her love for teaching and animals to the next generation of pet lovers.
