Getting close to completing our latest aquarium installation at a Physiotherapy Clinic in Markham. We got it filled up with water today and are prepping for the arrival of a vibrant selection of all male African cichlids. The atmosphere this aquascape creates, aligns perfectly with the clinic’s holistic approach to wellness and, natural/tropical interior design.
The aquarium is a 72” x 24” x 24” rimless design made from starfire glass, which ensures crystal clear viewing. One of the standout features is its lightweight faux boulders(more to come) and 3-D background that seamlessly extends from the 12-foot ceiling into the aquarium, giving the illusion of the tank emerging from a stone wall.
And, we’re working on a waterfall that will trickle from the ceiling, down the rock wall into the fish tank.
The ‘high-tech’ lighting system creating the dramatic effect is, just my flashlight. LOL! Just for the photo. As the clinic’s renovation contractors are still working too complete all the electrical.
We can’t wait to introduce the cichlids to their new home and see how this living piece of decor enhances the therapeutic ambiance of the clinic. Keep an eye on our page for updates and photos of the finished setup!
