Hillviews Princess Anne is 125cm, 17yrs old, and still JC - she's very low mileage for a pony of her age. She's an out and out winner up to 1m, a schoolmistress but not for complete novices as she's quite strong. She won the Springboard Final in 2023, a 128 class at the English Home Pony, a 128 class just two weeks ago at Kelsall Pony Premier, and in the last year has jumped at both HOYS and RIHS.

It's funny, you wouldn't expect to celebrate a round where 3 fences fell, but on a novice pony and for a partnership that have only been together 4 months, it feels like a massive win! In the HOYS qualifier with only five clears, thirteen completing the course and nearly twenty eliminated or retired, Arlo's round was his best yet and showed how far he's come in a short time 🤍🤎

Third show with Shem LM 138 stallion Munch (Kantjes Alvaretto) and two more double clears, equal first in the Stepping Stones and 5th in the Springboard.
Second show with new boy Toby (Kyneton First Addition) and two double clears, 2nd in the Springboard and 4th in the Winters (and halfway qualified for second rounds 🥳).
Finally double clear and 3rd for Thistledown Pluto in the Winters! And the girls exercised too when we got home 💪
