We will be updating our website soon, but we have a few older dogs looking for a quieter lifestyle!

Another very difficult decision! But we think Blaze would be happier in a family setting as he gets a bit neurotic in a kennel environment. Blaze was the dad to our most recent pups. Out of an abundance of caution, Blaze will not be placed until he has had a consult with a cardiologist as he has produced a pup with severe heart disease, just putting this out there now in case anyone has interest in him.

Blaze is 2.5 years old. He has certified normal hips and elbows and will not be affected by any genetics diseases that can be tested for. He is a Canadian Champion.
Blaze is a fantastic boy. He is incredibly confident and stable, he is the kind of dog you can bring anywhere.
Blaze has a lot of energy and is not a couch potato. Daily exercise (both physical and mental) is a must. An active home will be needed for him.
He would love to join you for walks and hikes. He gets along with most other dogs and with kids. He is very jumpy however, therefore a home without young children is best. He has a lot of prey drive, therefore a home without small animals such as cats is required.
Blaze has foundations in obedience and protection. These could be continued or he could participate in just about any sport you would like to do with him!
Blaze has had a preventative gastropexy surgery done and is up to date on vaccines. He will be neutered before leaving here.

We will be updating our website soon, but we have a few older dogs looking for a quieter lifestyle!

Yankee is a young boy. Named after his father. He came from Italy. We do not know his true age. His papers say he was born in April but we know this is not true. We estimate he is approximately 10-11 months old currently.
Yankee was supposed to be our next prospect but sadly he has an underbite and soft, floppy ears that never stood, therefore he is not show quality. His underbite and floppy ears do not stop him from being a lovable pet however.
Yankee is a sweet boy. He is a bit reserved/shy at times. He adores people and so far has been good with kids and with other dogs. He does like to play rough.
He is too young to be neutered at this time, he will go on a neuter contract and strictly to a pet home only. Yankee is up to date on vaccines.

UPDATE: Wolf has found a home with one of his pups 🥰

We will be updating our website soon, but we have a few older dogs looking for a quieter lifestyle!

This was a hard decision to make, but we think our sweet old man Wolf deserves a home where he is the center of someone’s world and gets all the love and snuggles that he desires.
Wolf was the dad to two batches of our pups.
Wolf weighs around 70-75 lbs. He’s will be 7 years old in February.
He’s a calm, laid back boy. He does enjoy going for walks but after coming back he would love nothing more than to lay on the couch with you or even right in your lap. Wolf has no sense of personal space and wants to be as close to his people as he can be.
Wolf gets along with other dogs and kids. He has not been around cats but I imagine he would do just fine with them.
He is a very kind, gentle boy with the purest heart.
Wolf does have some arthritis now but it doesn’t seem to affect him at this point. He likely would benefit from being on a joint supplement.
Wolf is neutered, has had a preventative gastropexy surgery, and is up to date on vaccines.
Priority will be given to any of our previous puppy families, especially anyone who has one of this kids.

We will be updating our website soon, but we have a few older dogs looking for a quieter lifestyle!

First up is Angus. Angus is a big boy (around 90-100 lbs). He will be 4 years old this month.
Angus is loyal to his family and loves to spend time with his people. He thinks he’s a lap dog and will love to try and sit on your lap.
Angus does get along with other dogs but introductions must be done slowly and under supervision. His ideal home would have no other dogs but he can potentially live with a calm, submissive dog.
Angus has been tested with cats and seemed to do fairly well with them.
Angus loves to use his big feet to paw and slap, so a home without young kids would be best.
He can be a little shy in some situations but warms up quickly.
Angus has OFA good hips and normal elbows. Genetically he is not at risk for any diseases that can be tested for. He has never been bred or shown. He is neutered, had a preventative gastropexy surgery, and is up to date on vaccines. He does have a wry bite (crooked jaw), this is cosmetic only and does not affect him otherwise.

Happy New Year to all of our puppy families, friends, and followers!

2024 was a year full of ups and downs. Our litters between Lyka x Wolf, and Iska x Blaze were born.
We moved an hour north to the Miramichi area.
We had a fantastic regional show with every one of our dogs taking first place.

2025 should be a good year for us!
We are expecting some amazing litters! We will be keeping back pups who will lay the foundation for the future of our program. We couldn’t be more excited about this!
We are looking forward to the upcoming show season and can’t wait to show off our boy Tallyn (Sunntoya’s Hachiko) as well as some of our upcoming progeny. We are hoping to make it to our regional show, Canadian National, USCA National, as well as the BSZS in Germany.
We are also working hard on training with our dogs. Giana is preparing for her IGP1 and Tallyn is working on his foundation for IGP (and doing fantastic!).

Pictures do not even do this boy justice, he is absolutely stunning and we could not be more excited about this match! By far the nicest quality male we have met.

We’ve been busy over Christmas, so now that the “deed” has been completed, let us introduce the male we chose for Giana!

VA1 (USA) Chaz von Wilhendorf IGP3

We chose Chaz for his correct, moderate, and balanced structure, as well as his absolutely correct temperament. Chaz is the epitome of what a German Shepherd Dog should be!

Huge thank you to Wilhendorf German Shepherds for allowing us to use this amazing boy and for accommodating not one, but two of our girls over Christmas.

Hopefully we will confirm that this match was successful in about 3 weeks time, with an expected due date of February 23rd.

Small change of plans for our upcoming pairings.
Due to both girls being in heat at the same time it has complicated travel arrangements somewhat, so Giana will be paired with a different male than originally planned. We will announce the new stud choice soon, we are just as excited about this one ☺️.

Our puppies are socialized with dogs of all sizes. Here they are meeting Tila the chihuahua for the first time 🥰

The puppies are now 2 weeks old which is an interesting age! They are able to walk (though not very gracefully haha) and they are beginning to interact with their environment. They have started to recognize and play with their siblings and humans, they like to nibble on fingers although they have no teeth yet. Their ENS and ESI are nearly complete with 2 days to go. They have had their nails trimmed and received their first dewormer. Our job now is to expose them to a new object and/or experience each day. During these early days we start with human baby toys and large, soft puppy toys to introduce different textures and sounds.

Babies are 3 days old! They are doing amazing, gaining weight daily. Today we started their ENS and ESI. They are handled and loved daily (and get lots of kisses 😉). They are just perfect, I love them so much 😍.

We have 3 beautiful babies so far 🥰. 2 girls and 1 boy. Iska is being a fantastic mom. We have 1 more puppy to go. Iska is taking a bit of a break so it’s going to be a long night!

Iska is such a beautiful mover 😍. The German Shepherd Dog is a herding breed. Their style of herding is called “tending”. They were bred to essentially be a living fence to contain their flock of sheep. The behaviour you see Iska displaying in this video is typical of a German Shepherd tending their sheep. A well bred GSD can gait like this for hours. In this video Iska has already been doing this for 2 hours with no sign of slowing down. Genetics are amazing!
