Puppy Update! I am so proud Of these pups, in their 8 short weeks so far they have grown and learned so much. They are beautiful, have amazing personalities, love and trust, are so attentive and consistently aim to please. They have been very busy the past few weeks with many adventures including car rides, office time, working with children, attending puppy yoga, meeting people of all ages and mobility levels. They know humans come in all sizes and move in a variety of ways, they have seen casts, braces, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, crawling, walking running and jumping. They know how to handle loud and busy as well as quiet and calm and everything in between. We have worked on kennel skills as well as puppy pens. The list of socialization skills they have worked on is extensive. These babies are ready for their forever families and can’t wait to begin the next chapter of their lives. Good job Nannie’s you have worked hard and we are proud of you.

A bit of a yucky picture but the mats were changed immediately after this was taken. I am so proud of these little 3 week olds and how quickly they are learning to use their p*e mats and keep their sleeping area clean.

The whelping area is set up and ready to go. Maple is slowing down and not as interested in her food as she normally is. She is still eating so I don’t think pups are imminent but definitely getting closer. She is being watched very closely now and are excited to meet her babies. To enquire message r email

The count down is on. Maple is big and waddles around to find her next place to lay down. She is happy, loves her extra food and fully appreciates cool tiles and cool outdoor evenings. Today is day 56, day 63 (next Sunday) is due date. What day do you think she will deliver?

🗓️ Join us at our Beltline location on September 10th or Airdrie on September 12th.

This event is designed to help pet owners that haven’t been able to afford wellness care during these difficult economic times and want to get their pets caught up on vaccines.

We are running this as first come, first served; and trusting in humanity that only those in need come join us. We will not be verifying low income status, just bring your pup or cat, line up and we will do the rest.

⏰ Operating Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

🐾 Daily Capacity: 100 pets (first-come, first-served)

🐕‍🦺 Pets per Handler: Max of 2

🏠 Pets per Household: Max of 4

⭐️ Note: pets must be healthy and eligible for vaccines; unfortunately no medical work-ups can be done for sick pets, allowing us to help as many animals as possible.

Counting down the days until we meet Maple’s puppies. She is due on the 15th and definitely looking bigger every day. Today she is enjoying a lot of time resting on the cool tiles and many snuggles and pets from us. Today was exciting because I was able to feel the pups wiggling around. Who has a guess as to how many puppies she will have?

Wow look at those two. They have grown so much since they left here in February and March. I love that they are still seeing each other at day care and continuing with their training. Thanks Cassie and Ohana Dog Training Services for all the great work you do with the dogs.

Update on Uno one of Sage’s pups from this past winter. He is continuing to do well with his training as a prospective service dog. He has grown lots and he Ives to cuddle and play. And just like Mama he always has that big old tongue out with a huge happy grin.

Pupdate
Maple has had a wonderful week. She got to go to the office a few times and “office dog” this is one of her favourite things as she gets all the love from people, fun walks in the city and trips to the ice cream shop downstairs that sells special doggy frozen treats. This week she also has definitely begun to show, maple new nick name is “sausage”. September 15th is quickly approaching can’t wait to meet these babies.

Violet is so smart and loves to please. She will do anything to make her people happy and gain some belly rubs. Come meet her and find your new best friend. She is the last pup in the litter and would love to meet her family soon.

So proud of this pup. He is doing so well and showing just how smart and willing to work he is. The other pups from this litter are also doing very well from the updates I am getting. And Miss Violet is still looking for her forever family.
