Blueberry season has started!!!

Welcome to Formosa Nursery! | Formosa Nursery Co. Ltd.

One thing people ask is if we’re organic, WE ARE NOT! There’s one organic farm that we highly recommend is https://www.formosanursery.com

They have nursery’s where they plant their blueberries with organic materials.

You could also search on gov bc about the farms that are ACTULLY organic then someone telling you they have organic blueberries when they don’t. Dhothar farms has been in business for almost 18 years.

YES, we do spray. As a Blueberry grower, we spray to combat two things: mummy berry (been around for years now) and fruit fly that burrows itself within the fruit. Aka they are worms at could be in the blueberry that all blueberry owners have to look out for so others arn’t at risk of catching something. Spraying isn’t risking the blueberries to be contaminated with chemicals nor does it effect them naturally growing. We also do spray to kill w**d plants, in the farm. Otherwise the blueberries have not been sprayed since May.

Just heads up mostly every farmer does spray. Just wash your blueberries and your okay (:
