Happy Earth Day.

Sustainability has been a lifelong mission of mine, within the business and privately. I have been active in eco-advocating since high-school, including living a plant-based and waste-conscious lifestyle, supporting conservation efforts of endangered species and speaking out about the climate crisis.

The Earth matters every day, not just on Earth day. As a pet owner myself, inevitably I am contributing with waste such as pet food packaging. This is why it was important for me, to have all of my products packaged sustainably in fully compostable bags, reduce the carbon foot print by supporting local farmers, and creating no waste by handmaking biscuits in small batches only. The latter also guarantees that the biscuits are always made fresh when you order!

Happy International Women’s Day from the two ladies behind this brand.

If I could give advice to myself from 10 years ago, it would be this: Never let anyone discourage you from your dream. Make your own experiences. Stand by what’s right for you and not by what pleases others.

I don’t like getting political on this account but with current events happening in our neighbouring country, I want to say that our concerns as women are valid and have been overlooked for the majority of history (remember the diagnosis “hysteria”?). You’re entitled to your own opinion. But one’s rights end where they infringe on others and their bodies.
You wouldn’t get car advice from a hair stylist, would you? You’d ask a mechanic. So why is it different in women’s care?

Enough said.
