Lifting Stars Pet Homecare is owned and operated by Dr. Jeff Berkshire. Since graduating from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2005, Jeff has practiced small animal medicine and surgery for over eleven years. His experience as a full-time associate veterinarian includes working with Westminster Veterinary Group in Westminster, California (four years), Care Pet Wellness Group in North Vancouver (two years) and Granville Island Veterinary Hospital in Vancouver (five years). Jeff is a member of the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia, the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement and the International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care. 🕊️ Today, on Remembrance Day, we honour the brave souls who served and sacrificed, including the courageous animals who stood by their side. From horses and dogs to carrier pigeons, animals played invaluable roles, providing loyalty, comfort, and courage during some of history’s most difficult moments. 🐾🪖
Their contributions remind us of the unbreakable bond between humans and animals, especially during times of hardship. We are grateful for their service and remember them with respect and admiration. 🌹
