I love to see the generous donations from Aventix Canada go to such great use for such a great cause!

Estamos muy agradecidas con nuestra comunidad Canadiense que ha volteado hacia Cozumel y ha creído en nosotros y en nuestra misión de alcanzar el equilibrio poblacional de perros y gatos en la isla.

En especial hoy queremos agradecer a todo el equipo de Aventix Canada por su donación de lubricantes de ojos, limpiadores de oídos, jeringas y agujas para nuestra campaña. Pero fue tan grande la donación que por lo menos los lubricantes de ojos y limpiadores de oido nos durarán para las cirugías del resto del año.

Durante los dos días de campaña pasada esterilizamos a 280 perros y gatos de manera gratuita, con el apoyo de toda nuestra comunidad local e internacional. Y el resto del año en nuestra clínica nos enfocamos en esterilizar perros y gatos que deambulan libres por las calles... los vacunamos y después de su recuperación son liberados en el mismo lugar de captura.

Gracias amigos de Aventix Canada por su generosidad y compromiso con los animales y sus familias sin importar en qué pequeño rincón del planeta se encuentren.

Y claro, gracias a nuestra voluntaria Jennifer Baldwin por hacer las gestiones y por transportar los donativos!

Another amazing testimonial for Aventi Synergy!

Aventi Synergy testimonial:
"My 10 year-old German Shepherd cross, Buddy, has suffered from arthritis and joint pain since he was 5. It got so bad that for a while I did not think he would make it until age ten. As much as I love him, I would not have wanted to see him suffering constantly. Winters were especially bad and there were times when he found it hard to go for short limping walks down the block. The Vets at Kenora Veterinary Clinic suggested that I put him on regular doses of glucosamine and omega-3 supplements, and prescribed Gabapentin for the pain. The supplements helped a bit and the painkiller made things a bit easier for him, but it was obvious that he was still in pain.
In Fall of 2021, I discussed Buddy’s situation with his Vet. She suggested that I try a new product that might be helpful for him. I had heard good things about hemp-based medicines for dogs and decided to give Aventi Synergy a try.
By the time we entered another long Northern Ontario winter, I could see an improvement with Buddy. He did not seem to be in as much pain & he was more active. As winter progressed, we saw a great improvement in his condition. He often bounced up and down the stairs; he enjoyed longer walks and went for more of them. I was happy to see him diving into snow piles and rolling in the snow, something he hadn’t done for several years. His limping seldom appeared, and crying in his sleep was not near as frequent. He even played with my 2 y/o Golden Retriever Emma on a somewhat regular basis. I can confirm that he had the best winter in several years and continues to do very well.
I give him his Aventi pills with his dinner at night, but I have tried offering them to him just on my hand – he would take them with no problem. This is another good feature – dogs like the taste of it and there is no coaxing and tricking that so many medications require for administration.
I will keep Buddy on the Aventi Synergy as it is well worth the price to have a happier and healthier dog. I highly recommend it for any dog owner whose dog suffers from arthritis and bone pain. A great product!!"

British Columbia is doubling the number of seats it will subsidize for first-year veterinary college to address a shortage of animal doctors in the province. The funding comes after those in the profession have warned about high rates of burnout and suicidal thoughts.
