We’re getting excited for clinic and show season starting up! I try to attend as much as I can at the Vernon riding club, if you’d be interested in getting photos taken at any VDRC events and even Kelowna (with enough interest) send me a message!
I am looking to grow my portfolio so prices are free to very cheap!

27 year old Gem, Gem came to us under weight and with an unknown future. She had been sent back to the rescue as her companion had passed away, she’s the very bottom of the pecking order in a herd so couldn’t stay at the rescue.
We offered to foster the sweet old girl with RJ, and with tender loving care, high quality forage, and not being picked on, Gem has become a good weight, she is sounder than ever, and happy! And a bit spicy as well🌶️.

Only offering in the Vernon area at this time, may look at venturing out further for multiple people and/or for the cost of travel.

Some swimming fun with both mares back in august🥰 these rides and swims were so therapeutic, and the horses really enjoyed themselves! Especially RJ, she just thought swimming around was the best thing ever!

One of my coach’s jumped Abri the highest she’s done under saddle (just below 3’) and we couldn’t be more pleased with her!
The feeling when professionals absolutely love the horse you’ve trained from scratch, and everybody everywhere you go says she’s amazing, is truly something special!

Did you know that a horses hoof naturally flexes?
Even though the hoof is made of keratin, and is hard, the hoof flexes to absorb shock when the horse moves. Metal shoes actually reduce the amount of flexion, which can reduce the amount of blood flow and actually increase the amount of shock travelling up a horses leg!

The changes in this horse are amazing, doing lots of strengthening exercises and other ground work to get her ready to start again! Hoping to swing a leg over in the next couple weeks🤞
