We rescued Stella just about six months ago.
Since then, she has settled into our household really well.

She just finished her intermediate obedience class and passed with flying colours.

We are holding off until fall to do her advanced obedience.

Next up is Winston. He is 9 1/2 years old. We have done obedience, rally obedience, agility, fly ball, and trick training.

He has started to have a harder time with his anxiety. The vet suggested getting him involved with some fun activities that will make him more confident. Brain Games it is!

We start Thursday evening. I keep telling him how many sleeps it is. 😉

Of course I want my pups to know sit, down, wait, stay, etc. But more importantly, I want them to know they are loved and appreciated.

Does anyone have a problem giving their dog pills? Did you know that Pill Pockets have chicken in them?

Winston gets medicine twice a day. He is pretty good about taking his pills but sometimes he balks.

I am going to make some homemade pill pockets.

I will have them with me June 22 at Westsyde Days.

I will be handing out samples.

This is an exciting day for me. As most of you know, I have been having some ongoing health problems.

My heart is fine but I have tachycardia. It races during the day and night.

I had a sleep study done at a clinic and found that I am not getting enough oxygen when I sleep. It is different than sleep apnea, which I also have. Time to lose some weight.

I am getting my CPAP machine today so I can sleep properly for the first time in years. I am optimistic that I will have more energy, and that this machine will help my tachycardia.

My motor neuron disorder is progressing, but I am still fighting. You might see me around in my wheelchair.

I have some fun markets coming up in the spring and summer. I hope to see all you dog lovers at these events.

Hi everyone. I just joined up to an app called Sniffspot.

I have a solution for dogs that can't go to dog parks.

I have an enclosed large space in Black Pines that dogs can play in.

It is fully fenced, even for Stella and Winston.

The cost is $10 an hour.

We live 15 minutes north of the Dunes.
