Prairie Dog Film + Television is one of four Alberta prodcos who will receive support through the Bell Slate Development Fund.

"We’re very thankful and excited to be able to develop three Alberta based projects with the help of the Bell Slate Development Fund. This is a critical first step in the production stage and will allow us the ability to grow more creative projects in our province.”, says Janet Morhart.

After presenting 2 awards for the pre-recorded Rosie Awards event scheduled for Saturday, September 25th, Janet Hamley-Morhart and Scott Lepp attended the State of the Industry event hosted by CIFF at the Hyatt Regency.

The panel included the Commissioner for film and televison, Luke Azevedo, as they discussed where the industry is, where it’s going and the impact it has on jobs and foreign direct investment in Alberta.
