I’m Michelle, owner and founder of Michelle’s Caring Cat Sitting Services. I am a lifelong cat mom, having at least one cat ever since I was a child. My obsession with cats and the joy of helping others inspired the concept of providing cat sitting services to cat parents, while they’re away on vacation or if a helping hand with cat care is needed often. My business was established in 2018 in the

Niagara region, I have moved to my new and permanent home in Ottawa as of July 2023! My services include daily drop-in visits to your home where I check in on your cats and ensure their food and water are refilled, litter is cleaned, and they enjoy some playtime! You’ll also receive daily photo updates so you can see your kitties while you’re away! My experience with cat care includes following specific feeding requirements, litter box scooping and thorough litter box cleaning, cleanup of dry and wet cat messes, administering pill or liquid medication, as well as subcutaneous fluids and insulin. I am a Certified Professional Pet Sitter, Fear Free Certified Professional and certified in Pet First Aid and CPR through Walks N' Wags Pet First Aid. I am also a member of Pet Sitters International and insured and bonded through PROfur. Additional experience working in pet care includes receptionist at a veterinary clinic where I gained valuable knowledge in pet health as well as sales associate/keyholder at a pet store assisting pet parents with their purchases for their furry family members. I schedule a meet and greet with each new client before the first cat sitting visit to ensure the cat parents and cats are a good fit.

About Me

Hello! I’m a lifelong cat parent with four cats of my own. I am known as a Crazy Cat Lady to everyone I know. My four cats are my furbabies, and I treat every cat as if they were my own. I want to help other people with cat care, either while they’re away or if a helping hand is needed often.

I offer cat sitting services in the Niagara region, I am located in St. Catharines. My services include drop-in visits to your home where I check in on your cat(s) and make sure their food and water are refilled, litter is cleaned, and that they enjoy some playtime! Visits include daily photos sent to the owner(s) so they can see their kitties while they’re away!

I have experience with feeding multiple cats at once, adding supplements to wet food, mixing more than one type of food, cleaning multiple litter boxes at once, cleaning out litter boxes and refilling with fresh litter, cleaning up dry and wet cat messes almost daily, and everything else required to take care of multiple cats. I’m a huge cat lover and thoroughly enjoy spending time with any cat I meet!

I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR through St. John’s Ambulance (certificate can be provided), and I previously worked in a veterinary clinic as a receptionist where I gained valuable knowledge in pet health. I am also a member of Pet Sitters International and I am insured and bonded through PROfur. I am confident that I am able to provide the best care possible to cat(s) in my care.
