The family’s 3 week trip to the East Coast begins mid August, and I’ve now confirmed the time off with my regular job!
A huge thank you to Amber and John for always accommodating me… without that I wouldn’t be able to do the things I do, or go the places I go, so I really appreciate that😊

Holy!! A milestone already?!
Celebrating 1 year as a Travelling Pet/House Sitter on Facebook today!
I am so thankful for the wonderful people I’ve met, the pets, trips, and opportunities I have been given.
I am also very grateful for everyone who has viewed, commented, liked and shared my animals and adventures in the last year.
Your involvement makes me feel like you’re right there with me, which is very comforting while I’m away and the only human around. Alot of times a person just needs to know they’re not alone, so thank you for that. I appreciate all of you, and I just wanted to say so🥰🥰🥰

Have you ever held a brand new baby turtle in your hand? What a feeling.. we ran into a couple of the little cuties on the sidewalk by the pool.. they were off to a terrible start and heading the wrong way in life so a security guard and I carefully scooped them up and carried them out to the ocean! Wished on a falling star that they made it💫🙂

I wish I was sitting for this beauty for awhile, so gentle and sweet but I only just met him on the beach in Panama🙂

On that note, I am available to horse sit anywhere, anytime!! Also available to come love smaller pets, and sit your house/property, plants and pool while you’re away on your holiday✈️🌴

April 2023 was my second job as a Pet/House Sitter!
3 weeks with 2 dogs, on the beach in beautiful Belize🥰
This job found me by chance! Or pure luck…and maybe some Karma, too😊

While in Belize for my first Pet/House Sitting job, I had stopped for a quick lunch and I got chatting with a perfectly lovely couple at the restaurant who, it turned out, was looking for a Sitter for 3 weeks in the spring! They asked if I would be interested in staying at their place and caring for their 2 dogs while they were away?! Of course I was interested!! We met again later that week, and easily worked out an agreeable plan for April. I went out to their property for a quick tour, and to meet the sweet Samoyeds, Charlie and Angel😍❤️and that was that! I was going back to Belize!
I returned in April and had the most comfortable stay with everything I needed available to me. The dogs were wonderful, and so well behaved. We walked every morning before 6 and played through the day. I must say that I really enjoyed my time with them both and hopefully I’ll get to see them again soon😊😉💫

Took the girls, Charlie and Angel for our last walk down the dusty road to Sarteneja, Belize before their Mom and Dad arrived home from their trip.. such sweet, wonderful, well behaved dogs, I feel very lucky to have spent 3 weeks with them❤️

My first trip as a Travelling Pet/Home Sitter took me to the beautiful country of Belize. In the jungle and on my own for 2 weeks, I was very thankful to have my two fearless companions Big "D" and Ol' Bones, also my protectors from all creatures hairy, big, and small. A huge-ass leather flyswatter I brought with me came in handy, too!🕷️🦂🦟🕷️

I managed to survive tarantulas and big wolf spiders, scorpions, ants, the weirdest kinds of bugs, and a hurricane warning! That turned out to be just a couple of windy days in paradise! 🫠

I had a solar system to keep an eye on, rain barrels for water source, I did laundry in a pail and I showered outside—once even in the rain, which I HIGHLY recommend to anyone who has a chance. Don’t be shy!! Dance!

I picked my own bananas, sour oranges grapefruits, and flowers but most importantly, I learned:
I COULD DO THIS ON MY OWN!!
This girl is tough!!
..it was a little bit scary at night, though, sooo dark and quiet...
I was definitely not so tough then😏 Remember Tom Hanks in Castaway when he's startled by the coconuts falling out of the trees?
I totally get it now... they do come crashing down.

And I admit it. I slept much better with my machete in my bed🫤

A kennel is never fun for your pet. If you have a holiday planned and have no one to care for your pets/home while you're away, I will come to your home and care for your property--pets, house, plants, etc. while you're away. References available.
