Tux and I had a great time competing at the Alert K9 trial this weekend. Thank you Lesley Thomas and crew for a fun event and Cathy Imlay Teeft and Doug Teeft for fun hides.

Tux you were a super star this weekend! You are turning into such a great search dog that is clear with your information. Tux earned his 3 Advanced Title and 2nd Excellent title earning him his Champtionship title. Tux and I also entered into our 1st Elite level competition to learn all about it and he blew me way, he earned him self his first Elite title, with a top dog and a judges choice award...good boy buddy!!!

Introductory Scent Detection Workshop (2 parts)

During these workshops we will play lots of fun games that will give your dog a solid foundation in the 3 components of scent detection: searching skills, odour recognition, and indication work. You will also be introduced to basic leash handling skills, simple searches, and reading your dog’s changes in behaviour.

Thank you Krista-Lee Fisher for the great time at the the scent trial this weekend. Pixie, Tux, and Winx did great. Pixie earned another Advance Title with being named top dog, Tux did amazing work and earned his Excellent Title, and Winx stepped up and showed confidence in finding all 3 started components in a combined time in less than 46 seconds.

Congratulations to friend, student, helper, and travel companion Kelly Cummings-Martell and Rudy with your 2 advanced titles, and your 2 game Qs.

Puppy Class

Starting March 2021

Clever Dog Training Solutions will teach you how to shape your puppy’s brain to make great choices by playing fun games with them. These games will teach your dog confidence, self-control, focus, and much much more!

This class is great for puppies of all ages and would be beneficial to any new rescue dog.

This online class includes 6 lessons with a new lesson released every 2 weeks.

The lessons will focus on building confidence, self-control and calmness, recalls, leash work, socialization, potty training, grooming, preparing for vet/kennel visits, biting, etc…

Each lesson will include detailed lesson plans, supporting videos, and additional resources.

Trick Training & Titling Group

The cold winter has finally arrived. Stay warm this winter by joining a supportive and fun group that is working on trick training.

Trick training is a fun and stimulating activity that you can do with your dog that will enhance your partnership. You will have fun teaching tricks to your dog and then you get to show them off to earn Trick Titles from Do More with Your Dogs.

What are Trick Titles?

Do More With Your Dog is a recognized sanctioning body for the sport of Dog Tricks and issue official Dog Trick Titles. These titles are recognized by both the CKC and AKC. There are 4 trick title levels: Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert.

Membership Includes:
- Lifetime member of a private Facebook group
- Access to all videos, documents, & feedback from all members - Post as many videos, pictures, & questions as you want
- Have your first Trick Title witnessed by Julie Lizotte a certified CDTI (Trick Dog Instructor)

New Classes Starting in January 2021

Life Skills Class

- This is an online class that will include 6 lessons over 12 weeks. This class is great for dogs of all ages - puppies through to seniors. The class will focus on building confidence and focus by playing games that will lead to real-life results.

Senior Dog Class

- This is an online class that will include 6 lessons over 12 weeks. This class has been created to enrich your older dog's life by stimulating their brain and body by playing games that are age appropriate.

Perfecting Threadles

- This is an online class that will include 5 lessons over 10 weeks. This class starts at threadle foundations and working all the way to perfect threadles in any situation.

Growing Up with Winx

- This is an online class that runs for 4 months. It includes all of the foundation training I do with my puppy, from 8 weeks of age to 6 months old, to help her develop into a confident and well mannered family pet and a world class athlete.
