Two days ago, one of our precious babies got sick. We worked hard and administered sub-q fluids, tube feeding and placed her in the incubator. Even with all of our help, she passed away peacefully in her sleep.

It’s so hard to lose a puppy that seemed perfectly fine one day and then not the next. I battle with the guilt thinking I should of done more, but what more could I of done…. With every loss a piece of my heart is taken… sorry to anyone waiting to hear from us, we are trying our best

Sneak p*ek at some Topknot babies… we have some baby face yorkies and can’t be more excited. Watching these babie grow is an absolute pleasure.

Huey Dewey and Louie have started eating raw, they are so tiny and eat so little. It’s actually quite funny.

Hello Friends!

We are now accepting applications for new guardians families to join our team.

What does it mean to be a guardian?
Guardianship is a partnership with us, you get a puppy or adult to love and raise like your own while also facilitating breeding of that dog through our kennel.

Potential Guardians must live on Vancouver Island, with commitment to stay in this region for 5 years. It will be the responsibility of the guardians to bring the dog to us for breedings and whelping. We like guardians that are communicative and willing to work with us in the best interest of the dog. Families need to be able to financially supply everything required to raise a puppy. A home with enough room to provide adequate exercise with means to fence or restrain pup for reasons of safety.

Theo and Utana welcomed three baby boys the other day. Due to the nature of their size we chose to wait a bit to post. These boys are growing each day and are now between 4-5 ounces!!! Still so tiny, but growing each day. We just love watching them grow 🥰 Huey, Dewey, and Louie

Sorry to anyone waiting for a response from me… I am trying my hardest.

I have been pretty quiet about my health, very few know the extent of my illness. I feel that by posting this now, may help everyone understand and be more forgiving of my delayed responses.

2 1/2 years ago I got acute Covid-19 which ended me up in ICU with bilateral pulmonary embolisms. I didn’t understand at the time that I was very sick and could of unalived.

Unfortunately I am one of the few people that have been effected by long Covid and I would be lying if I said that I am ok. It has been a long road and I struggle with everyday life because of my many symptoms. I am able to keep some of the symptoms at bay by rest and pacing, but as I am a single mom I the maid, chef, driver, personal shopper, etc. I moved to Comox for work 10 years ago and have minimal friends/family that are able to help, so I need to help myself and I push through, do too much and find myself crashing way too much. With having Long Haul Covid I now struggle with chronic fatigue syndrome and post exertional malaise, which are very hard to understand and manage.

I have not successfully made it through a week without crashing yet.

I will be the first to say the my dogs are treated well and always come first. They have helped me feel better and not so alone.

Long post…. This is not for sympathy or a Covid discussion/debate. I just felt like I owe it to everyone to know the truth.

I am practicing pacing and I will get back to you…. Thanks for your understanding and for being part of my community

Birdie Mae, who is co-owned by VI French bulldogs, and Bella Mia Frenchies welcomed eight beautiful babies into the world. As you can see, it’s a hard life being a mom, but she is the right girl for the job. Puppies are all extremely healthy, bouncing babies, growing like weeds and all that other sappy puppy stuff…
