We are so excited and happy to announce that we have walkers now available in PITT MEADOWS and MAPLE RIDGE!
Our two new walkers that are representing our new location are Robyn and David they are so excited to be out making new dog friends, community connections and adventures.
We are also so proud to start our new location off with a bang by welcoming our two newest doggos Millie the beautiful chocolate doodle and Bella the border collie mix.

Today we wanted to share a beautiful story about these two boys. Due to some unforeseen circumstances they have been unable to see each other for quite sometime.
Well when they got together it was fireworks 💥 their reunion was full of ZEUSSSSSSSSSS, multiple kisses and endless smiles. Their friendship is pure magic and it warms our hearts to see.

Here at AdVentures Dog Walking we think humour is a great way to help everyone get through the day. Bloopers are a part of life and capturing them on camera can make for some good laughs.
A prime example is Helen giving Comet the “stink eye” and Comet giving Jenna a push on the shoulder to keep their walk going.

This week has been exciting for AdVentures Dog Walking!
First we would love to introduce our newest addition to the AdVenture Dog Walking family WINNIE! She is a beautiful standard poodle who we look forward to getting to know.
Secondly we received some amazing gear from Woof Concept that they graciously donated to our program.
Included is a beautiful picture of Winnie and Bogart as well as some great shots of some of our dogs in there woof concept gear!
We at AdVentures dog walking wanted to do a huge customer appreciation shout out and include cute pictures of all the dogs we have had the chance to walk.
We know that our customers have the opportunity to pick between many different companies and we appreciate you guys giving us a chance.
AdVentures dog walking loves all the dogs they get to walk and our guys have built amazing friendships and connections within the community.

This week we would love for everyone to meet William!
He is the hardest working gentleman with a dream of one day working in a music store. William is dedicated to his job and adores making money and being independent. He is strong and could walk for ages. William has the greatest memory for music and can tell you what year most songs came out and any other fun facts about the artist that he knows. Although he is a big guy he is kind and gentle with the dogs and is very patient and understanding.
Side note: William can be seen giving the rock and roll sign in many of his pictures which highlights his love of music

This month we would love for everyone to meet Bogart!
Bogart is full of personality and has a million great stories to tell you. He loves walking in nature and could walk for hours. Bogart has an infectious laugh and loves to see people smiling. Bogart is strong and takes on our bigger fur friends for us.
Dogs mean a lot to Bogs he enjoys their company, kisses and that they give him the ability to earn a wage on his own. He’s very proud of his job at AdVentures Dog Walking and looks forward to meeting new friends.

Happy Holidays Everyone!
We at AdVentures dog walking thought we would start the new year off with a bang by introducing everyone to Helen!
Helen is our most hilarious, outspoken and dramatic dog walker. She has really started to blossom in her new role and enjoys being out in nature. Helen is full of character and builds strong relationships with the dogs she walks and always enjoys giving them a backstory.

She can’t wait to meet more friends so she can build friendships and give them a backstory to go along with their adventures together.
Helen is full of historic facts and will blow you away with her knowledge of everything to do with the past. She has an amazing memory and will never forget anything you’ve said. She is eager to get to know you and your pooch and you can be assured that she will want to know what your favourite Disney movie is.

Today AdVentures Dog Walking would like to introduce Jenna!
Jenna is one of our newest team members and is blowing us away with her positive attitude and the love and attention she gives to the dogs that she walks.
Jenna is hilarious, kind and full of life. She really enjoys being outdoors and walking. Jenna is the most patient and understanding young lady who doesn’t mind taking her time with our senior pals. Jenna will always give them a ride when they’re tired and loves every minute of it.
Everyone knows when Jenna is headed to work as she bounces down the hallway cheering and celebrating as she heads out the door.
Jenna loves music, dancing, Netflix, going to the movies and spending time with her family and friends.
Jenna is saving her earnings for sushi, going to the movies and new clothes.
A side note…. Will Smith if you’re looking for a dog walker… Jenna is your biggest fan!
We at AdVentures Dog Walking thought it would be nice to introduce our walkers! This week we would love for you to meet Jerrod.
Jerrod is the most hilarious, kind young man who adores his job as a dog walker. Jerrod loves every dog he meets and the more they’re willing to bark and smooch him, the more he loves them.
If you ask Jerrod what his favourite thing about dog walking is right now it would be getting to walk his new best buddy Zeus! Who of course gives him the most kisses out of everyone.
Jerrod is small but mighty with enough personality to win anyone over. Jerrod loves shoes, transportation, sports, and when the phone rings.
He has been working for us for a year and has told us he is saving up his money to buy cheeseburgers, shoes and a black pickup truck.
Fun fact Jerrod has the same love for peanut butter as dogs. He loves to eat it, think about it and even make it have fictional fights with the jam!

CVS has a range of social enterprises. adVentures Dog Walking started in 2019 by members of our staff who saw an opportunity in the market to match individuals in our program with dogs that needed to be walked while their owners were at work. It is widely known that individuals with developmental disabilities gain great benefits from working with animals. Dog walking also helps our individuals get out in the community and keep fit through walking. We offer 2-1 walks where each dog is walked by one of our individuals in our program and is accompanied by a community support worker. This provides extra care with your dog and allows us to build the best advantage for your needs as a dog owner and for the individuals we serve. We offer behavioural dog training to our staff and the individuals we serve who are walking dogs. All dogs are vetted beforehand in a meet and greet with a fully trained dog caregiver, who also has completed her dog first aid course.
