Cita was so good trying on a pair of fancy boots that help with circulation! She didn’t want to take a step forward in them at first because they felt funny but she got used to them very quickly 😊
She is a very nervous girl and does not have a lot of experience with coats or boots or anything of the sort. She has come sooooo far since we rescued her but it’s always good to try new things that will improve her quality of life! ❤️ and build her confidence!

Thank you Royal Tree Works for your hard work clearing trees and fallen branches at the sanctuary! 😃 It’s been a crazy year for trees falling; first the ice storm and then we had a massive branch crash down on our shed on a beautiful sunny day 🤔😅 but most importantly, Winnie and Dweena were very happy to have lovely visitors who gave them treats 🍉 thank you Royal Tree Works!

Thank you soooo much to FrogHollow Farm Sanctuary for trimming hooves and tusks!! 🐷 I didn’t take any pictures because I was a wreck worrying about the piggies lol but Ed and Andrea and the whole family are so compassionate and we are so grateful!!! Thank you!! ❤️

So spring is finally here!! We’re busy with lots of cleanup and projects here at Winnie’s Place …

There was so much damage from this crazy winter and recent ice storm. Fences and structures are still down and branches are still being cleaned up. The winter brought a host of other challenges I could carry on about but we are just grateful for good weather and happy healthy animals 😊
