I stopped riding because one day I had the courage to take responsibility for my choices.

Want to help the incredible animals at Winnie’s Place? Here are some ways to help us provide the best possible care for everyone 🐷🐴🐰🐕 🐱

* Do you have any blankets, sheets, or towels you are looking to get rid of? We’ll take them! We are not open to the public, but we can arrange porch pickup in Orillia, Midland, or Barrie.

* We are always in need of paper towels, disposable gloves, garbage/compost bags, and puppy pads which we have linked on our Amazon wish list or we can arrange pickup 😃 https://www.amazon.ca/hz/wishlist/ls/158RQR8ILQQ9H/?ref_=list_c_wl_lol_ovle

* Monetary donations via PayPal will help us pay for food and vet bills: https://www.paypal.me/WinniesPlaceVegan

* We also graciously accept donations via etransfer to [email protected]

* and of course, go vegan! It is the ultimate way to support the work of vegan sanctuaries😊

Easy access to links in our bio!!
Thank you from everyone at Winnie’s Place, A Vegan Microsanctuary ❤️

Amazing work Cedar Row Farm Sanctuary❤️ the poor little one :(

This tiny one somehow found her way onto a busy highway; we estimate she's just 3 weeks old! Fortunately, kind individuals spotted her and brought her to us. We were uncertain if she would make it, but about 24 hours later, she pleasantly surprised us by starting to eat on her own. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It's puzzling to us that she was in transit, considering “broiler” chickens are typically killed at an average age of 38 days of age. ⁣⁣
Did you know that Canada raises 730 million “meat” chickens every year?⁣⁣

It’s already been a little over a year since we started this page! 🐷❤️ We have learned so much in this time and have really been able to form our guiding principles and core beliefs as a vegan animal sanctuary. We thought it was time to update our featured post….

Winnie’s Place is the home of many rescued and adopted animals. Their caregivers (Claudia Godden) and founder (Cita VeeVee) are all ethical vegans and animal rights activists. We were founded on the principals of the Microsanctuary Movement (check them out Microsanctuary Resource Center ‘s website!); mainly that we
approach care in a compassionate, non exploitative way and are committed to providing exceptional lifelong care for individuals who are liberated from exploitative and/or harmful situations.

We firmly believe that the work we do at Winnie’s Place and our existence alone is an imperative form of animal rights activism. The animals are worthy of respect regardless of what “benefit” they provide for humans. And in caring for them non exploitatively we are challenging the notion that they are commodities and we are rejecting speciesism.

We are not a non profit organization yet, but if you feel inspired by the work we do, we graciously accept donations by etransfer to: [email protected]

Thank you to all of our supporters and fellow vegan activists and animal caregivers ❤️🌱

Blankets are always needed for the folks. If you have any pre loved blankets, for the folks to curl up in this winter, we are always grateful!
They love them❤️🙏🏻🐖

It was anything
but insignificant,
the way you opened up our unimportant and trivial minds,
to a contrast of what was considered normalcy.

The cosmos aligned and your whole world became ours.
You were anything but mini.
