Right now Spencerville TNR Cat Rescue is working on trapping the cats at the Wi******er Dump, and we have just trapped a new mom and her seven babies!! Kitten season has started. Here is a picture of them. So adorable, and so very vulnerable.

There are still more to trap, and right now our focus is finding them, trapping them and caring for them. But everything costs money.

If you can, please help us protect them, and consider making a donation to our Valentine’s Day Raffle, or just make a donation, if that works better for you.

As many of you know, we have the Spencerville TNR Online Auction Page dedicated to fundraising campaigns, and the Spencerville TNR Cat Rescue page dedicated to the cats we rescue, provide medical care, food and shelter.

Sometimes the pages overlap, due to severe financial strains on the Rescue. Just 3 vet days, and 2 dental procedures in one month can generate over $7000 in expenses, not to mention food and litter.

Occasionally, you will see comments that rescues are all about money. Anyone who sees the heartbreaking condition these cats are in, knows this is not true.

Please consider making a donation to our Valentine’s Day Raffle, or just make a donation, if that works better for you.

Did you know that it costs $150 to have one cat spayed or neutered (fixed)? And dental surgery on a single cat is a minimum of $1000.

If we send 10 cats to be fixed and arrange for dental surgery on only one cat, then p**f! We just spent $2500.

Right now the well is going dry, and there will not be enough money to help all the cats that need help.

So far we have only sold 69 spots on the Valentine’s Day Auction, and only a few people have made donations.

The odds of winning something, especially if you make a donation for more than one spot, are very good.

We are going into the kitten season, which will include high vet bills, especially as some of those mamas will not have easy pregnancies.

Our Valentine’s Day Raffle took off with a bang, but has now come to a grinding halt with only 56 spots taken, and only by a few people.

We help rescue cats from all over Eastern Ontario, including Shanley, Wi******er, Lyn, Cornwall and many, many more.

All the snow we had yesterday evening was so lovely. It was lovely to go for a walk in the snow, dressed in a warm coat, and then return to the warm house.

The outdoor cats we rescue don’t have that luxury. Please help us to help them and make a donation, if you can, and like and share this post with family and friends.

If funds are tight, please remember us when you de-clutter and donated your unwanted items to the Rescue. And if you make things like soaps, lotions or crafts, please consider a donation to the Rescue. We can turn those donations into money for the rescue.

Spencerville TNR Cat Rescue has happily welcomed some new fosters, which in turn allows us to help more cats.

However this all comes with a price, as our rescues always need medical care, food and love. Fosters provide the love, but only you can provide the money we need to do our work.

This very unusual ring is made with rose gold Vermeil and features 5 pretty cubic zirconia stones in clear, amethyst, aquamarine, citrine and pink topaz. The clear CZ stone is the largest stone.

Gold vermeil is made of Sterling Silver and a thin layer of gold, usually 18kt or 22kt. The word "vermeil" comes from the Low Latin word vermis, which means "gilded silver". This ring is stamped Sterling Silver and is size 7.25.
