Hey guys!

Due to the Coronavirus gripping the world right now we will be unavailable to care for your fur babies. We have decided to suspend all services until April 12, at which time we will re-evaluate the situation.

Until then, stay home as much as you can! Stay safe and be kind.

A huge thank you to all our essential service workers our there!

On January 1, 2020 the new Provincial Animal Welfare Services Act comes into effect. On that date, primary responsibility for conducting animal cruelty and welfare investigations will transfer from humane societies like ours to government inspectors.

Our Story

As long-time dog owners we understand the struggle of needing a reliable and safe option for your pets while you’re away for a weekend, have a long day at work or need someone to come and check up on your puppy, dog, or cat.

For us, the struggle was real when we realized that our 5-year-old beagle became highly anxious when left alone in the evenings. We relied heavily on a fleet of babysitters to keep him calm and safe. What we saw was a real need for flexible and skilled sitters.

Our goal was to develop a business where your pet feels safe and welcomed and where you can go away with peace of mind in knowing that Fetch Me a Sitter’s qualified sitters are taking the best possible care of your furry family member.

We take pride in having your dog stay with us. While they’re here they become a part of the family.
