Poe the Piggy
Poe says happy Monday everyone! He is one of our males that we are hoping to get some babies from with some of our ladies! Super curious and friendly and always up for treats! Stay tuned to see if he becomes a daddy! 😀🐹
Needed more seasoning Ma!
Pancake sure loves her bugs now! Savannah Monitors have strict husbandry that needs to be followed to keep them healthy and happy. Their diet should consist of mostly bugs but they can have the odd treat of eggs or raw chicken or mice. Hard to believe this little one will grow to be a scaley small dog. We can't wait to take her for strolls in the summer sun!
Flap-Jack the Savannah Monitor!
Flap-Jack sure loves his worms! And crickets....and, any bug really...😅

Savannah Monitors grow between 2-4 feet long! So they will not fit in your typical aquarium/terrarium! (Ours are just babies at the moment!) Their diet consists of mainly insects but they can be fed pinkies, raw chicken, eggs etc, every once in a while for more protein. They are prone to obesity and this can cause health problems and liver problems so insects are best! They're very smart and can be quite affectionate!
Keep a look out for ours come summer when we take them for a little stroll in the sun!
Kai loves Superworms!
I love these little derpy beings! So enthusiastic to eat!

The white powder in the dish is calcium powder! If Geckos don't get enough calcium and vitamins, they get metabolic bone disorder which can be detrimental to their activities. It's good practice to dust all their bugs with calcium powder when feeding as well as leaving them a dish with some so they can lick it up as they feel they need it!
**(BE CAREFUL. Some calcium powders have D3 added, if you put this in there dish they can eat too much and OVERDOSE.)**
