After a week of baking things that didn't turn out right I finally had a success!

2 failed cakes from a recepie my grandmother used to make, Blueberry muffins that wouldn't come out of the wrapper and a loaf of banana bread that randomly didn't cook like the 2 others I baked with it, I needed this win

I could have danced my way across my driveway to proudly show my hubby in the garage what a great cook I am 😅 (I think he's just glad it wasn't from a box)

We're in the journey together ❤️

What's up today!?

We (even tho have been very sick) are super excited to be watching our ducklings slowly hatch!

I swear hatch days will never get old 😇

I think it's time for a rebrand!

As there hasn't been much activity with the reptiles we are going to switch focus a bit, I'll still be posting some stuff about them but we have so much more going on here! With the house settling into what we want it's time for a change.

As we all know I'm an animal lover and I don't think it has any limits 😅 we've expanded from the ducks to quail and now chickens so this will be changing into more of a homestead/homegoods page ❤️

Surprise it's me!

It's winter so that means myself and the reptiles have basically gone into hibernation. With that being said this page is going to be a bit slow with posts.

However!

I always have things going on even if they aren't reptile related, like today! I put a batch of quail eggs in the incubator 🙊

I also have been working on this saltwater aquarium the last few months 😍

If your interested in all my goings on like and follow! Because frankly most of the time I have no idea when I'm going to post 😅❤️

Full cage scrub, and re-stuffed their favorite toy hopefully this layout works better and keeps the perches a little cleaner 😅

I am currently SOLD out of isopods to let the colonies grow a bit bigger, we now have dairy cows in the making!

While we are waiting I've started working with resin! I have a few things in mind but I'm using these beautiful book marks as a starting point.

Some updates

We had no luck with any fertile eggs from the anoles but we added two more to our pair so hopefully we'll have better luck next season 🤞

I'm still in search for some long tailed grass lizzards which have absolutely fascinated me. They do this cool little dance thing lol

The big tank is looking amazing as usual, Alia (crestie) managed to score one side. I'm working on making things a bit more green for her

The grass in Mr lawn mowers tank is hanging on by a thread 😅

Today's project was taking apart a moss pole that had my hawian pothos on it and trying something different, I'm not sure if I'm happy with it 🤔

Also the plant bin is filling up so pm for some deals! Willing to negotiate 😎 spider plant not for sale

I'm always trying to make Mr lawn mowers space more green but he ends up trampling any seedlings

So this time I grew out some plugs and hopefully these will survive 😅

I've had to check the name on the pot a dozen times just to make sure I wasn't seeing things 😅

I always forget to post what I'm up to

Today's challenge: to find 2/3 missing morning geckos

I upgraded their tank not realizing the lid didn't perfectly seal 🫢 so of course two of these little escape artist got out

Found one hiding in the ground of an outlet and the other hiding on a TV, needless to say they are in jail (jail is the plant grow out bin)

Maintenance day!

Water spots cleaned off the glass, rearranged the empty 10gal and gave lawnmower merlin a revamp for the trillionth time 😅

His tank is the only one that's bland because he can't keep anything nice lol well see if the spider plant survives 🤞

I never know what day it is so we're a day late 😅 oops What else Wednesday?! This is Jack (formally Jax) my boy who loves to sing! He has a special thing for my mom, anytime we video call he has to sing to her 😆 he loves Jay and they typically cuddle every morning. Jay tells me all the time that Jack is his birdie 😂

Did you know that a lot of reptiles will actually eat their shed? I got the pleasure of watching my work buddy Lionel shed today! They never fail to amaze me

This is one of the coolest things I've seen! Powder orange 🍊 isopod mid shed! Shout out to my girl Kelsey's Crested Geckos thanks for hooking me up with a starter colony! Don't mind the tiny voice in the background, he spooked em just after that lol
