Update, 1:05 p.m. RCMPNS is continuing with its investigation on Hwy. 102. The northbound lanes are now open. Southbound, motorists are being diverted at Exit 12.

RCMPNS is on Hwy. 102, near Exit 11, . The highway is closed in that area. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and expect delays. Officers have two people, including a high-risk offender, in custody. There is no public safety risk.
