We learned of this decision on December 3rd, and wanted to let our supporters know immediately. A very nerve-wracking day yesterday as we presented our appeal rebuttal to the county. As soon as we learn of the outcome I will post it immediately (could take up to 15 days :-( A big thank you for everyone’s support and well-wishes! Now we cross our fingers and wait...

This is it! We are going to defend our proposed Unleashed dog park on Wednesday, November 18th at 10:30 am at Rockyview County's headquarters (by CrossIron Mills). If you are up for supporting me with your presence, let me know if you can attend. I need all the emotional support I can get right now as this is very nerve-wracking!

Hello fellow dog lovers,
An update on Unleashed Dog Park: After unanimous approval of the permit, a formal appeal has been filed today by a neighbour. As such we will be going to Appeals Court at the County office on November 18th. Their main concern is that the park will attract aggressive dogs who might attack them...any support and prayers with this matter are greatly appreciated, as this has been my dream for a long time. It would be good to find a dog behaviour expert to speak to their concerns at the hearing...

Hello to all you fellow dog lovers out there! This truly breaks my heart and soul; As you may have noticed, we are currently only allowing Friends and Family to use our Unleashed Dog Park. If we have met and are friends, feel free to email me about access. Otherwise please be patient. The reason for this is that someone has decided to challenge my permit application as of last night. Letters of support for the future operation of Unleashed Dog Park are most welcome (feel free to email them to [email protected]). Thank you for understanding!
