The layout is underway and I'm loving it so far!

There is always a few tweaks that need to happen once I start laying out a board and this one was no exception but I like all the adjustments I have made thus far.

Just need to add some stems to my flower and maybe and one more flower or exchange one for a different style, not sure yet 🤔

I love making snuffle boards! Each time I make one I come up with a new idea.

I love this one because it's the first one that I put a contrasting boarder around and stitched a paw print onto it.😍

I've had the pleasure of having a few of their pups in my puppy classes and they are always the sweetest pups ever.🧡💜

I'm very excited to be taking this course!

I was hoping to revamp my FB shop this week and do a beautiful post about it but I ended up with Mastitis 😫 so instead I been trying to relax and nurse/pump as often as possible.
Thank goodness it is getting better and I didn't need antibiotics.

Soo what I'm getting at is to keep your eyes open for a future post of the revamped shop.
I'm planning on having each product uploaded to the shop so you all can see exactly what colors and sizes of mats and other products I have available for purchase.

It's been awhile since I have introduced myself and with so many changes in the past year I thought it was a good time to do so.

Hi, I'm Miranda and I have lived in FSJ most of my life and truly love being from here.

I wear many different hats 👒 and honestly I Iove it that way, typical Gemini. ♊️ 😂
My newest hat is the momma hat but I'm also partner in crime to my amazing partner Justin, I'm an EA at Bert Bowes, a dog trainer with Sit Pretty Behavior & Training maybe you have took a puppy class with me and of course I'm owner of Artemis Pet Products.
Many of these hats are on the shelf right now as I'm on mat leave but I'm trying my hardest to keep up with my snuffle products while wrangling this monkey 🐒 🙈

I love my business because as a dog trainer I know the importance of giving our four legged friends outlets for normal dog behaviour such as foraging and sniffing which they get to do when using snuffle toys. These toys can bring so much enrichment to our pets and I adore watching dogs use them especially if it's their first time.😍🥰
I also love being creative and making things with my hands. My favorite thing is picking out the colors and coming up with new product ideas. I hope to have some new products available for the summer of 2023 so keep your eyes p*eled for those 👀

WTF?..... What is The Function?

This is a great abbreviation to help remind us that all behaviour has a function and our dogs aren't trying to drive us nuts but they are simply trying to accomplish a certain outcome.

I'll be the first to admit I let my dogs behaviours get to me from time to time especially now with the lack of sleep I get with baby so I find reminding myself of WTF allows me to relax and think what is Yeti trying to accomplish with this annoying behaviour and what can I do to help him accomplish this without him performing the annoying behaviour 🤔😆

I'M BACK 😁

I know it has been FOREVER since I have posted anything to my page and I apologize but I swear I have a good excuse.

I welcomed my little bundle of joy into the world this summer so I naturally took a step back from all work and focused on my new role as a mother ❤️🤱

I'm still figuring this whole motherhood thing out but I'm starting to get back to making the things I love which are snuffle toys. Expect some more posts moving forward.

Did you know...

Snuffle mats and other snuffle products can be used at meal times to work your dogs brain.🧠 It allows them to use their nose to find the kibble. 🐽 If you listen closely to the video below you can hear Yeti sniffing (and crunching hehe) so I know he is working that nose pretty hard.

When dogs are using their noses it is a mental work out for them. Think of it like us doing a math test. This can result in a dog that is more relaxed and at ease. I know I need a nap after doing math🥴📚

Now isn't that what we all want after dinner? Some nice quiet time to ourselves where our dog isn't pestering us.
