ADOPTABLE

Crow
Age: 14.5-Months
Breed: German Shepherd x Fruit Bat
Size: Medium
Weight: 45 lbs

Adoption Fee: $850
*Post Adoption Training is Mandatory*

This little fruit bat has actually been with Sato Saved since last February! He and a couple of his siblings were showing potential health issues.

Fortunately, the others were cleared and adopted, but Crow is still showing signs of neurological / genetic issues that include;

❌️ Lack of weight/muscle
❌️ Random crying spells
❌️ Flat feet
❌️ Struggles with house training
❌️ Tartered teeth & double canines

At over 10-months old, we would expect him to be closer to the 70-80 lb mark. However, he is closer to 45 lbs, but don't let his lack of growth deter you, Crow is the epitome of happy, full of love, and LOTS of spice.

When Crow first arrived he was a meek boy with such an innocence about him, however, although he still has those traits, he has become an incredibly confident boy in the pack and has really found his voice when it comes to play time. He would do best with dog friends/siblings who he can't pick on. He is NOT aggressive but is a vocal / dominant player.

Since he was transferred to us in late August, Crow has improved with some of his genetic issues and has blossomed into a good-looking lad;

✔️ Has gained weight & filled out
✔️ His crying spells are rare (non-existant)
✔️ Feet and legs have gained muscle
✔️ His teeth have cleaned up

Crow does have downfalls still;

❌️ Shreds anything in his crate
❌️ Still pees and poops in his crate

He does well with structure and routine and someone who will be patient with his bathroom woes in his crate. He does fine out of the crate, and we use a belly band, and he has shown no destructive behaviour when not crated.

He is so deserving of his forever home and is SO loyal. He has a great recall and really does love his people fiercely.

Crow will be UTD on his vaccinations, microchipped, and has been neutered. An adoption application needs to be sent directly to Sato Saved via email at [email protected], and the document can be found here;

OWEN

Age: 8-Weeks
Breed: Pyrenees x Golden Retriever x Husky
Size: Large
Weight: 10 lbs

Adoption Fee: $850
*Post Adoption Training is Mandatory*

Owen is a beautiful white fluffball with an outgoing personality.
Now that we have gotten to know him a little more over the weekend, we feel comfortable making his official bio.

Compared to his brother Austin, Owen is a free spirit who has actively engaged with some of the larger dogs without batting an eye. He has been more apt to explore new places and sniff all the good spots.

Now, due to his age, he is available as a foster-to-adopt.

What does that mean?
Owen is not old enough to complete all of the necessary vetting; he would go to his new home as a foster until he can complete the regiment of vaccinations and neuter.

Vetting appointments are typically done in Kitchener, and the foster-to-adopt family / individual would need to be able to take him to scheduled appointments. Once the vetting is completed, then the adoption can be finalized.

If you are interested in a foster-to-adopt, an adoption application needs to be sent directly to Sato Saved End of the Line Dog Rescue and Rehabilitation via email at [email protected], and the document can be found here;

ADOPTABLE

Bodhi
Age: 6.5-Years
Breed: Shepherd x Belgian Malinois
Size: Large
Weight: 90 lbs

Adoption Fee: $650

We first introduced Bodhi back to you on a Five Dollar Friday back in September. But here is a little more on his story...

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/19kchdew9a/

Bodhi had been loved by his family, but after a bad breakup, his mom had to seek other accommodations. There, Bodhi wasn't allowed in the home and was deteriorating, having to be tied up outside 24.7 (see photo of his ears when he first came to us having been devoured by flies).

Despite this, Bodhi is an absolute sweetheart - a gentle giant who is so deserving of his happy ending. He was born with a deviated septum and has a crocked nose, which just adds more personality!

This is what we know;

✔️ Great with kids
✔️ Extremely dog-social
✔️ Loyal
✔️ Good with dog-savvy cats
✔️ Rural or fenced yard

Because Bodhi adores children so much, we feel as though him going to a home with kids is ideal!

His fosters have done a great job at getting Bodhi to a more ideal body weight, and he has thriving being allowed to live indoors again.

Bodhi will be UTD on his vaccinations, microchipped, and has been neutered. An adoption application needs to be sent directly to Sato Saved via email at [email protected], and the document can be found here;

ADOPTABLE

Thomas
Age: 2.5-Years
Breed: Cocker Spaniel
Size: Small
Weight: 30 lbs

Adoption Fee: $850

Thomas, oh, Thomas!
This handsome little nugget came in as an owner surrender, up in our neck of the woods, and although inundated with dogs, Cassia agreed to pull him to Sato!

Thomas, not only is as cute as a button with his droopy puppy dog eyes, but he LOVES his people.

Thomas has had no issue with the other dogs in the home and typically sticks to himself, but if there is a good game of barking or chase where the energy is elevated, he is all about it.

Thomas does have a prey drive, and while he hasn't caught anything we think it is more curiosity and not an aggressive reaction to cats (and bunnies), so we think with proper introductions he should be fine... but I would lean on the weary side.

This is what we know;

✔️ Good with kids
✔️ Extremely dog-social
✔️ Loyal
✔️ Chases cats & bunnies
✔️ Good with larger livestock
✔️ Rural or fenced yard

Although he likes to be doted on and star aimlessly into your eyes, he does have some bad manners and would need some reinforcement on his obedience.

We have been working with Thomas' crate and house training, and he has come a long way! He doesn't make a mess in his crate, and his house training is vastly improving.

Thomas does have some medical things that need to be sorted prior to finalizing his adoption, but that can be discussed directly with Sato Saved!

Thomas will be UTD on his vaccinations, microchipped, and will be neutered. An adoption application needs to be sent directly to Sato Saved via email at [email protected], and the document can be found here;

Sophie
Age: 4-Months
Breed: Cattledog x Shepherd x American Bully
Size: Medium
Weight: 15 lbs

Adoption Fee: $850
*Post Adoption Training is Mandatory*

Sophie is the last of her siblings to find her forever home, and we won't lie, we are kinda shocked!

Not only is she absolutely beautiful, but she also has the personality to boot. Growing up with her siblings, she was quieter and didn't have as much confidence. But, with the rest of her siblings gone, she has sprouted into a well-rounded little puppy.

Sophie adores hanging out with other dogs, snuggling and playing. She doesn't love the frigid cold temperatures, and we don't blame her at all!

This is what we know;

✔️ Good with kids
✔️ Extremely dog-social
✔️ Loyal
✔️ Good with cats
✔️ Good with livestock
✔️ Rural or fenced yard
✔️ Would benefit from another dog in the home

Sophie does really well in her crate with a structured routine to help avoid accidents. We are well on our way to working on her house training!!

Sophie will be UTD on her vaccinations, microchipped, and is spayed. An adoption application needs to be sent directly to Sato Saved End of the Line Dog Rescue and Rehabilitation via email at [email protected], and the document can be found here;

Please welcome our newest fosters...

Owen (White) & Austin (Tan)
Age: 8-Weeks
Breed: Pyrenees x Golden Retriever x Husky
Size: Large
Weight: 10 lbs

Adoption Fee: $850
*Post Adoption Training is Mandatory*

These handsome little fluffballs just arrived after a family on the reservation was seeking help when their female dog had a litter of puppies underneath their home. Agreeing to spay and neuter the parents, Cassia agreed to help with the litter (adding to the running toll of puppies in rescue).

Now, due to their age, they are available as foster-to-adopts.

What does that mean?
They are not old enough to complete all of the necessary vetting; they would go to their new families as fosters until they can complete the necessary vaccinations, deworming, and neuters.

Vetting appointments are typically done in Kitchener, and interested adoptive families would need to be able to take them to scheduled appointments. Once the vetting is completed, then the adoption can be finalized.

----

Because the boys just arrived, we do not know much about them, other than they are super cute - stay tuned for more updates on them.

If you are interested in a foster-to-adopt, an adoption application needs to be sent directly to Sato Saved End of the Line Dog Rescue and Rehabilitation via email at [email protected], and the document can be found here;

06/01/2025

On Sunday, January 5th, Cassia from Sato Saved End of the Line Dog Rescue and Rehabilitation made her way to yet another call...

The pleas and requests for help do not stop, and the rescue is FULL, with over 60+ dogs/puppies currently in foster homes.

But this was an urgent case, and this post is not to shame the people involved but to say thank you for finally seeking assistance;

An elderly couple became overwhelmed when they decided to take in a stray dog over the summer who ended up being pregnant. After having her litter and already having four (4) other dogs and three (3) cats in the home, the animals quickly overtook the home.

Unfortunately, the wife became very ill, needing treatments out of town. Completely in over their heads and not knowing what to do with the animals, they moved into a trailer in their driveway while the animals stayed in the home...

Yesterday, Cassia was surrendered;
- Six (6) puppies
- 14-year old senior dog
- Three (3) cats

Additionally, the mom dog and two other adolescents were surrendered to local Animal Control.

----

This post is to share that our Ontario crisis is dire.

Please support the rescues that are pulling their weight, actually doing the grunt work to save dogs HERE, in ONTARIO / CANADA.

Rescues who are importing dogs right now are just contributing to the dog population when we are already pleading for people to adopt the animals already here!

And... it goes without saying, STOP supporting backyard breeders / puppy mills, and please SPAY AND NEUTER!!!

So with that, please welcome Chester, one of the puppies taken in from the home and onto his brighter future.

Cooper
Age: 10-Weeks
Breed: Heinz57
Size: Medium
Weight: 60 lbs

Adoption Fee: $850
*Post Adoption Training is Mandatory*

This little fella showed up on a doorstep when he was around 6-weeks old. It's a very rural area and nobody was looking for him. He's believed to have been dumped.

He's the cutest and has the most silliest personality.
Cooper is currently in one of our foster homes with kids and other dogs. Overall, he seems to be a well-rounded boy who loves a good cuddle but also a good tug of war match. He does great with big dogs and small.

This is what we know;

✔️ Good with dogs
✔️ Food motivated
✔️ Good with cats
✔️ Rural or fenced yard
✔️ Good with kids

Cooper will be UTD on his vaccinations, microchipped, and will be neutered before his adoption is finalized. An adoption application needs to be sent directly to Sato Saved End of the Line Dog Rescue and Rehabilitation via email at [email protected], and the document can be found here;

04/01/2025

ADOPTABLE

Luna
Age: 3-Years
Breed: Cattle Dog x Bully
Size: Medium
Weight: 50 lbs

Adoption Fee: $650

Luna came into care after being found as a stray very pregnant. She has a sad story, but we are rewriting it.

All of her puppies except one (Sophie) have been adopted, and now it's Luna's turn to find her forever home.

She does well with other dogs with proper introductions, and she can be nervous about new people at times, but her foster has worked a lot on her socializing. When she first came into rescue, she used to bark at strange men and had protective tendencies if in a backyard or confined in a crate.

Luna has improved drastically with her nervousness and has gained a ton of confidence!

Luna would be fine in an apartment as long as she had lots of walks. A home with a secure yard would be great for her as she can be a flight risk initially, so she needs a moderately experienced dog owner.

Luna is great with kids but lacks some spacial awareness, so she knocks small ones down. She's best suited for kids 8+ who can hold their own If she jumps on them etc. Dog savvy smaller kids could be considered.

Highlights;

✔️ Good with dogs
✔️ NO livestock
✔️ High prey drive
✔️ Requires lots of exercise
✔️ Fenced yard
✔️ Good with kids (8+)

Luna rarely barks but is very expressive and whines and "talks" especially when she is excited. She will whine at the door to go out and rarely has accidents. Luna stays home with foster siblings for an 8-hour workday with no issues. She is not destructive and has not required a crate.

Luna will be UTD on her vaccinations, microchipped, and is spayed. An adoption application needs to be sent directly to Sato Saved End of the Line Dog Rescue and Rehabilitation via email at [email protected], and the document can be found here;

This is Lola!

She came to us when she needed to switch foster homes over the holidays, and well... we didn't have her long because she got an app just after Christmas and went on a 'foster-to-adopt' trial.

Well... we just got an amazing update from her family that they wish to finalize her adoption. 💛

If you are looking for a Pyrenees x her siblings Casey and Dawson are still available with a lowered adoption fee of $650!!
