The light coming through the door hit Bo’loz just right to give him this rainbow effect. This sweet little Frenchie was refusing to walk on leash, his family was already using some great techniques but he simply wouldn’t go. We had to get creative and after a week, he started to show some progress!

This is Piper, a very sweet little rescue that has found her home. We worked on some basics to get her started including name, touch, loose leash, off and more.

Teaching the basics to your new rescue (even if they already know some commands) is a great way to bond with your new rescue, as well as teach them some boundaries and new important cues.

Kaya is such a smart puppy, she catches on so quickly to all of her training. We reinforced some previous cues and introduced some new ones. She is well on her way to knowing all her puppy basics and get started on a few advanced cues!

When is the best time to start your puppy on training? Right away. It can take your puppy a bit of time to adjust when coming home, but setting boundaries early can set your puppy up for future success. Have a new puppy and want to get started? Send a DM and I will be happy to help!

This is one of the happiest pups ever! We worked on impulse control around jumping, mouthing and door darting. We also started working on paw just for fun. This clever boy figured out how to stay in “place” very quickly.

This is Calla and Denver! Denver, the little guy was a rescue and had recently joined his new family. Although we worked in many things, potty training was the big one. After a few hiccups, I’m glad to say Denver caught on and was successfully potty trained.

Sometimes when bringing home an older puppy or even adult dog they are not trained to do their business outside. They may slip away and find an area in the house and leave an accident that you find later. Some dogs may even go in their crate or on their bedding. This cutie is Nemo! We got started working on a few things one of them was feeling insecure and barking when new people arrive at their home.

This happy boy is called Brad the Pitt! He is a very good boy but can be a little sensitive to loud noises such as fire alarms. We got started working on some confidence building exercises, and redirecting focus.

Pesto the Corgi is cute as a button! This bright little girl already knows most of her basics so we focused on some specifics such as resource guarding, and recall.
She impressed me by bringing me her favorite toy and dropping in front of me after only a few repetitions when she was previously growling!

Does your dog or puppy get defensive when you try to take things from them or get too close to something valuable to them? Do they growl or snap when you approach their food bowl? Resource guarding is a natural behaviour that many dogs display, an instinct that was once necessary for their survival.

Cuteness overload with little Kaya! This smart girl is already potty trained so we focused on helping her feel more comfortable spending some time alone in her pen and got started on luring and basic commands.
