🎓🐶🎉 Remy, Daisy and Rainier graduated their Basic Manners class last night! Over the past 6 weeks they've been working on leash manners, impulse control, cooperative care and recall and more!

Upcoming group classes:

Trick class - Thursday, June 13th @ 8 PM

A fun way to spend time with your dog (while being inside, out of the heat or rain and away from the bugs!!). Trick training provides mental stimulation, builds confidence, improves your relationship with your dog and helps your dog learn to work around distractions.

6 week program, one hour each week and costs $180. Dogs of all ages welcome. Must be vaccinated and comfortable working around other dogs.

Basic Manners - Thursday, June 20th @ 6 PM

Focuses on how to set you and your dog up for success. Leash manners, recall, cooperative care, impulse control, preventing unwanted behaviours, reading body language.

6 week program, one hour each week and costs $180. Dogs of all ages welcome. Must be vaccinated and comfortable working around other dogs.

Classes are held at 144 Winnebago Street in Oromocto.

Coming soon:

In the next few weeks I will begin holding group classes again! I am renting the Oromocto United Church's hall at 144 Winnebago Street in Oromocto. More details to come but I'm so excited that I needed to share this now. Keep an eye out for class scheduling and let me know if you have any questions in the meantime!

Announcement: I'm now Fear Free Certified!

Fear Free’s trainer certification program allows dog trainers to work in partnership with veterinary teams to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress and improve an animal’s emotional wellbeing during veterinary care and home care.

Implementing daily cooperative care in your home and learning how to read your pet's body language effectively is a key component to having a happy and healthy pet. By working with a certified trainer you can create a training plan and work towards your goals of having a less stressful veterinary or grooming appointment.

To become certified, dog trainers are required to complete a comprehensive educational course and exam. They also have to take continuing education to remain certified.
