Meet the king of drools himself, Yoshi.
This boy is approx. 3 years old, his owner passed away and had nobody to care for him! He had a pretty severe case of stomatitis so we removed the majority of his teeth for him so he could live a full pain-free happy life! ❤️
⭐️ This man will be Foster to Adopt - he gets to come home with you while he waits for another vet check! He is still currently only eating wet food but he certainly doesn’t mind that at all! ❤️

We have an orange boy with a very funny underbite!
⭐️ Fletcher will have to undergo surgery to remove all of his upper teeth, therefore he will be “Foster to Adopt”. This allows Fletcher to go into his home, while still under our care, so he can get his much needed dental work but he can recover in his own home. He is a goofy, all in your face, please give me more love after you’ve already scratched me for 20 minutes straight, kinda kid! Would do well with an active family; he sure is silly and would really like to go for walks and car rides! He knows a bit of fetch already! Thats a very fun game! The only sensitivity he really had was his paws and he just laid his mouth over the assessors hands without applying any pressure. Good thing he’s food motivated! He is a very sweet boy that also likes his downtime and would cuddle up for a snooze. 💤

She loves to give kisses and bounce her body off of you when she’s playing! During a fun game of tag or wrestle, she can become mouthy on your arms and hands. She will also bark to get you to chase her! Keep in mind that she does have the puppy sillies and will require some work with her mouthiness and jumping up. But she is a super sweet lady, so cuddly and eager to learn new things!

This sweet senior lady doesn’t have a bad bone in her body. Throughout her assessment she was calm and collected. She did whine a little to get up onto our laps a few times; what can she say, she likes to be cuddled. 💖
She enjoys giving kisses and really likes squeaker toys. She isn’t very active but she still wouldn’t mind going for a walk with you!

A Great Pyrenees Mix, about 3 years old. Roughly 60 lbs. Surrendered through no fault of her own.
She is an incredible breed; a breed that is very active. She would need an active home. Hiking. Camping. Swimming. Car rides. She will enjoy it all.
She loves to lay in the sun all day and waste her days away. A very sweet temperament! 🌼
⭐️ Daisy has some leash reactivity that needs to be worked on. The previous owner stated that she is very hard to recall when she’s focused in on dogs and will bark excessively.
She is approved to live with other dogs.
She CANNOT go home with cats; she has a prey drive.
She has interacted with children between 3 and 10! 🌼

Meet ol’ man Zeus! ♥️
Zeus is about 6 years old, a transfer from Happy Valley Goose Bay — a Labrador Special! We’re going to classify him as a Husky mix but we’re not really sure what he’s mixed with! He’s approx. 75 lbs, he has looooong legs and had to have some of his tail amputated so he’s got a stubby little tail now!
He’s got these beautiful icy blue eyes that would melt the icecaps! 🩵
He knows sit and BOTH paws! A very distinguished gentleman. His tail is still a little bit sore so we’d recommend not giving him full on love to his booty or any type of wrestling while it is still in its healing stages. He loves squeaky balls and will chase them up and down the run all day, every day. He hasn’t quite learned how to give the toy back yet though!

He is a very happy, bouncy boy who takes treats nice, sits for his dinner and likes to sleep all tucked away like a little cinnamon roll in his kennel.

You may recognize her face; she came down from Labrador back in June with the name “Stormie.”
Luna is approx. 20 lbs, a terrier mix from Labrador “Labrador Special”. We do not know what she is mixed with. She may grow a little bigger as she is only 5 months old!
Luna has puppy tendencies that need to be worked on; nibbling on hands and arms, chewing things she’s not supposed to around the house and jumping up on people to grab their attention. Luckily for her, she is HIGHLY food motivated and it would be a breeze to train her out of the typical puppy behaviours.
She already knows Sit, both Paws, Touch, Lie Down, Stand, Quiet, Yes: No. Go Pee. She is an extremely smart cookie for only being 5 months old! She is such a sweet girl!
We’d recommend an active family so she can burn off some of that terrier energy! 🩷
⭐️ We recommend Luna be fed out of a slow feeder. Although she had shown no aggression, when approached while eating to test aggression / resource guarding, she inhaled her food. She would not lift her head when the bowl was being moved from her and she just wanted to eat it as fast as she could.

He is a Dogo Argentino Mix. A gentle giant.
Age: 2 years old
Weight: 107 lbs.
This sweet boy doesn't realize his size and just wants to be a big lap dog. He loves cuddling up with you on the couch. He loves to go for his daily walks, he is a big boy and pulls a bit on leash so adopters will need to be made aware of this. He knows sit and lay down, but only holds for a second. He is a VERY smart boy.
⭐️ In his previous home it was noted that he had food aggression with the other animals in the home, we have not noted any here at the shelter but would suggest adopters work with a positive reinforcement dog trainer to help with this. We would recommend crate training for him as well for when he is home alone and to give him toys that can help stimulate him mentally with snuffle mats, kongs, etc. to help fight the boredom. ⭐️
Brutus is able to live with dog-savvy cats if the proper slow introductions are made. He is not able to live with another dog.
