Alumni Update đ¤
When a senior passed away, his beloved cat, Bailey, was in need of a second forever home. His dear friends and neighbours, James and Sarah, promised to care for Bailey and they did just that. They immediately took him into their home, and even though he didn't get along with their cats or children, he was safe with them.
A few weeks later, they heard of a charity that had recently launched only three months prior called My Grandfather's Cat and decided to take a chance to see if they could find Bailey a second forever home.
They began working with one of our first volunteers, Vivian, to find Bailey a home where he could thrive. The couple was kind and patient with us as we interviewed applicants. They spoke to each applicant, but when they met Diane, they knew she was the perfect person to adopt Bailey.
More than three years later, Bailey is still thriving with Diane. They are the very best of friends, creating loving memories together and enjoying every minute of it.
"I love this boy. It's 3 1/2 years later, and handsome Bailey and I so love our time together."
As we celebrate our 300th adoption, we can't help but think how it would have never been possible if kind humans like Sarah, James and Diane didn't take a chance on our organization. Thank you to everyone who believed in us from our 10th adoption to our 300th. We couldn't have accomplished any of this without you.
