So many of you see our posts about conformation dog shows and grooming contests, but would you like to see the real thing?

This coming weekend there are three events under one roof- and open to the public! Come see what it’s all about and also explore the show put on for pet lovers like yourselves. The whole FPS team will be there all weekend so if you’d like to bring the family please come say hi!!

There’s also a conformation dog show every day from Thursday-Sunday. Feel free to text the salon number to see when some of us are showing if you’d like to watch. We have a Kerry Blue Terrier, a Wirefox Terrier, and an Afghan Hound entered in the shows.

I need to brag about one of our amazing groomers, Sara…

Sara and her puppy Clementine went to their very first conformation show this past weekend, they got third in their class! Placing in the show is of course wonderful but the part that gives me butterflies is the courage it takes to get in the ring for the first time, let alone with her own first puppy that she did the training and grooming herself. Showing is scary but Sara and Clem nailed it!!
