Billy Jeane had us up all night but well worth it with 14 puppies, so far all are doing well.

Last morning with all of them together, two leave today, Zoe is off to a wonderful home close by in Guelph and Murphy's family will be flying back to Alaska with him this afternoon. I will miss them but I know they have some wonderful families to make happy.

Just the dogs glad the field has been cut and cool enough to run a bit and short video of the puppies with a Golden friend (my mothers pick girl who all of her littermates went to new homes so she's come to play for a while)

I've been posting many photos and videos of the puppies on our website captivakennels.com. I bought them a new swing and it seems it is a hit :) Thankfully in this heat, they have their covered area and lots of shade out front but spend much of their time inside in the air conditioning, at 5 weeks they are going in and out on their own...videos from inside and outside camera in comments

Harmony's puppies turn a week old today and Jennifer's will be 2 weeks on Sunday. All are doing great! Jennifer and Harmony are enjoying lots of meals with bone broth, macaroni, ground beef/lamb/chicken.

Growing fast! Harmony and Jennifer are doing a great job! Some new toys coming for them.

Today the girls are having rice, ground chicken, bone broth and yogurt. Anything to get 4 good meals down them a day.

Harmony ended up with 9 (11 with 2 angels). I moved Jennifer to the kitchen box since hers are off heat. All gaining nicely so far. Moved a camera up for Jennifer's so I can watch both when not right there.

I'm pretty sure we're finished, after a long day we have 12, 7 females and 5 males. Will move them into their puppy box soon. Jennifer is being an excellent dam and has already eaten a few bowls of food with bone broth and goats milk.

All set for arrival, now the waiting game. Jennifer's first due date is today, hopefully, a smooth and safe delivery.

These guys are going back to their co-owners for 6 weeks :) Anna is back from judging so will take over until they are 6 weeks or so. I"d say Johnny is a proud sire but he's unaware, and off on the rockstar dog show scene.

Kalisti's puppies made the big move down to the puppy room. They are still a bit too little for the doggy door so I made them some ramps :) All have homes waiting for them. They take everything in stride!

Starting to explore more, introduced to food not that interested yet.

One week old today :) Everyone is doing well, Kalisti is doing a wonderful job. She is even taking some time for herself every morning to go run the field with everyone when I open the gate.

So far so good, all 12 are gaining nicely, Kalisti is enjoying room service but does like to go for the morning race around the backfield. But then right back to her puppies.
