Dear Clients,
We have had a lot of owners travelling abroad with their pets lately, which is fantastic. To guarantee the process goes smoothly we recommend contacting the CFIA and advise the destination country as the requirements are all different. We would recommend doing this ideally 2 months prior to travel. Minimal requirements are usually valid rabies vaccination and a microchip is present or is placed. Sometimes deworming is required to be performed by the veterinarian etc, and getting a pre travel exam with 7-10 days of travel.
We appreciate your understanding.

Per St Thomas Animal Clinic Clients,
One of the doctors at the clinic injured his hand and requires surgery and will be off for 2-3 weeks. As a Result we might be calling to reschedule some appointments around due to availability. We appreciate your understanding in this regard.

These are urinary crystals. Those perfectly shaped diamond cut "coffin" looking specs you see in this picture. Can anyone guess what type of crystals those are?

Is your pet having accidents in the house or outside the litterbox?
Are they urinating more often than usual?
Does the urine smell "funny"?

If you have any concerns about your pet, please give us a call to schedule an appointment... urinalysis is one of our many valuable diagnostic tools in helping us keep your pets healthy and happy.

Charity Cat is having another Microchip clinic :) Stop by the clinic before hand to fill out a form and reserve your microchip(s).
