It’s always a pleasure to visit Main West Animal Hospital with our cats. Our vet pictured here is Dr. Joseph. It’s such an amazing experience to have a vet who genuinely loves our cats. Whenever we go for appointments all the vet techs and receptionists come and take the kittens for a snuggle. Not only is it good socialization for our kittens, it’s an added perk for the girls. Thanks for all you do! We feel so very lucky to have you as our vet.

Hypoallergenic Cats

I decided to start Caspian Siberians due to having some pretty serious cat allergies. Through the years they have gotten worse so when I decided to do some research on hypoallergenic cats, Siberians showed up. I fell in love with them immediately; their beautiful appearance, their softness, they’re beautiful blue eyes, their intelligence, and their temperament. I did a trial run in a room of a good 30 Siberians which included being loved up, rubbed on, and drooled on, and had zero reaction. They have a dog like quality and can even walk on a leash, go camping, or boating if introduced to it from early on. They really are incredible animals and I will never own another breed. If you’re allergic and want to do a test run, you are always welcome.
